for those wondering, you don't have to upgrade vicious strikes completely, the ratio on them are a 1:1, 2 upgrades to vicious(like 60k gold) will provide 750 range units, which will cap it, no need to spend the 2 million gold!

unfortunately you will still need to use a c8 amp to get this to 100% tenacity, which is not something I'm willing to do if I'm doing chain resets.

@@MrJuicebags I've been loving these reflect builds when I have all my gear but I've been trying to think of a good minimalist and cheap build for muscling through resets. so far it looks like earthshatter + pdt will be my best bet although I hear some people just spam pdt.

so poison + defense rate + tenacity on reflect beam as mods and earth + defense rate + crowd control as mods on proton beam with the mentioned shards in the video = Wait was enemies suppose to spawn? I don't see any....

Have you considered switching the Earth mod on the proton beam to the new Poison Servo? Removes the need for the PDT and lowers the overall DU

Not a bad thought at all you should do that! I personally will probably remove earth from protons for something else. 5m tier 1 dps from a PDT is just too strong to give up!

no, you need level 10 then you upgrade it to c8 wioth an amp and you get 100% so cyborgs don't work on them

Fantastic video and this build will crush most lanes but my struggle is with flyers any suggestions, for kamikazes I put a obelisk down to bait them but I was curious what you do for most flyers

@Bruce Wayne it kinda does my issue seems to be a lack of damage I guess I try to spawn camp them with auras but they don't die fast enough so probably just DMG issue but I've been using PDT with serpent for cc which seems to be ok but it's expensive du wise

Reflect is a great anti-air , (add to that anti-air flame and wm) will work until 945 For kaze -> Bait obelisk or bait frosty (945- you can just kill them instead)

there is no secret to farming gold. the best way is playing c7 expeditions with multiple players. I'd recommend selling materials like mod reroll tokens or c7 amps since they will always sell fast if you don't get greedy with your pricing.

Vicious and Mass on the one defense is a paradigm shift for me as it would cripple both my wm's and fa's. Hmm swapping out Tenacity for Range on my wm's and using Vamp instead of Mass on my fa's is about the best I could do but those reflects sure do look tempting. It's all irrelevant for me atm anyway, I haven't been chasing that Torpedo Shard for the past couple of weeks lol.

the only downside to this defense is lack of range. it does way more aoe damage than wm or fa so makes them redundant unless you needed the extra range. I think a great combo is earth reflect + poison protons which will give you a very precise area that will petrify enemies then throw an explosive trap in that area -- another great defense whose only weakness is lack of range, but is irrelevant in this combo. I threw a slowing boost aura in there and it killed everything including bosses with everything at tier 1 in mastery. I just went and easily got my destructive pylon mastery shard thanks to how effective this combo was. If you'd rather have the extra slow and stun from oil geyser that should be great too. Explosive trap or oil geyser are definitely where my destructive pylon is going.

@@barfy362 I agree about the reflect plus protons, it seems to be the best direction although Vicious and gilded Deadly on Wm has been my go-to bird defense for a long time as well as in the lanes but I am getting close to hitting a wall in Os. I'm almost all the way in for changing my builds, Thanks.

late reply but tenacity is there to prevent the reflect beams from being disabled by cyborks, if it doesn't have tenacity, it'll be disabled along with everything behind it, but if you DO have tenacity, it will actually reflect the emp blast given by cyborks away from everything

they made it so shocking revelations counts as an elemental mod, so you will have to use the water elemental shard and then instead of the water mod you would use a defence rate mod
