I think that's what really made me love and appreciate his music, just how poetically brilliant it is. And I don't say this lightly. I listen to a lot of music but I haven't really felt a connection to many other musicians apart from Jeff Buckley and Justin Vernon (Bon Iver). Songs never mean much to me unless they mean something to the artists themselves. Words carry so much weight in my life and that's the form of art that truly makes me dig deeper. Not for any sort of certainty or answers, but for dormant or remote feelings and images just waiting to be brought to life. Your music and your words do this to me and many others I am sure. You certainly are a poet Ben, I think you've probably always been.

Agreed. I get scared when I hear an artist that I love's new music and don't get it right away. The best is after several runs through it when the pieces fall into place. The worst is when you try to sell yourself on it and can't. Have never had that issue with Ben's music.
