People actually complained about "girthy"? So funny. LMAO girthy is a good thing, but no one wants to be disappointed by the bad performance of a puny wick. 😉😂😂 My house is very Christmasy today. I'm melting Cranberry Garland and Very Snowy Spruce in alternating warmers, while burning Homeworx's Mistletoe Magic and Season's Greetings and Yankee's Cranberry Chutney.

January is a hard month from me regarding scent. I still burn and melt Christmas type scents in January and that helps. I sometimes focus a lot on tree scents also.

Another great home fragrance empties under wraps! I'm really contemplating that Pura system. Maybe in the new year. I'm just kind of over my BBW wallflowers not performing, but at the same time, the wallflower plugs are so much cuter than the Pura thing. I wish they would make it a bit more "prettier." 🤣 I totally continue tree scents in January and February. Tree, cinnamon, fruity, bakery, etc. etc. Just nothing too summery like lemon, floral (not that I mess with much floral), sunscreen, or anything like that. I am really enjoying Merry Wonderland - totally going in my Club. I feel like it wasn't very popular with people for some reason.

Yeah, the pura plug in is very modern looking. Not my fave necessarily either for sure in terms of aesthetics.

Hey Melanie, nice roundup; I saw more Pura at T.J. Maxx along with the 3-wick hobnail Sugared Beignets, Raspberry Coconut Cake, and the 80 oz Spun Vanilla Sugar ($69.99). Other 80 oz candles there tonight: Frozen Balsam, White Birch, and Crackling Fireside. I found SW Vanilla Pine and Holiday Cheer at Ross. Marshall's had VC's Jasmine & Gardenia, Sparkling Dragonfruit, and HW Cinnamon French Toast. I'm burning SW Cranberry Balsam such a nice fragrance, I remember that you mentioned it in one of your videos as being good and still doing YC's Poinsettia. Might do Holiday Poinsettia (outlet) next year. Vanilla scents are great for the holidays and especially all year round. Spiced White Pumpkin is really good. I think KR should do a walnut divinity gourmand candle. They should also do a James Bond collection. Have a good night.

My house is smelling so good! Currently burning in rotation Kringle Candle 3 Wick Away in a Manger and Bavarian Christmas. Burning together Kringle Candle Reserve Vintage Pomander and Cozy Christmas, so good! Thank you for suggesting Candle Lamps in the stores, I went to my local Home Sense store and I bought an adjustable candle lamp and its wonderful, melting BBW Marshmellow Fireside. 🎄🎄

Melanie, great video! I too burned spiced white pumpkin because it is a powerhouse for me as well and I think many pumpkin fragrances can be enjoyed between Thanksgiving and Christmas. As you can imagine losing my mom, my husband and my dog this past year, my holidays here in my home are quite quiet. I have decided to get another dog to love and spoil and I have always had German Shepherds but others are trying to convince me to check out small breed dogs. So, I have decided to do some checking into Pugs and Mini Dachshunds. I am used to the huge amount of affection I have both given and received from German Shepherds (they are like a shadow to me) and have been reading that Pugs are very affection with their owners as well. Do you have a preference in the sex of a Pug and do they have certain traits from your experience that I might find helpful in making a decision? Michelle

(I’m so sorry for this late reply, have had a little first breakup drama at home with my daughter and it’s been rough) I am so sorry for your loss. You have been through an awful lot and I wish I could give you the biggest hug. I think getting a new furry friend is a fantastic way to bring some joy back to the holidays. Pugs are incredibly affectionate. I prefer male pugs because they seem to be drawn more to women. The girl pugs I’ve met all love men lol. But regardless pugs really are lap dogs. They love attention and affection. Alf follows me everywhere I go. I think the key is tons of attention as puppies. I’d carry mine around as much as I could snuggling and kissing them lol. It’s easy to do. They just love people. Wiener dogs are sweet too but I am very partial to pugs. They truly are an addiction lol. I hope you are able to find a little something to find joy in this holiday season. Much love ❤️

Does it usually take two or three hours for the Homeworx four-wick candles to pull out?

Yes, some of them can take a lot longer. The best bet is to put them in a hurricane if they are taking a long time to pool out.

I ordered Christmas in the city and I didn’t like it at all. I tried putting in my crock and the scent was awful. Everyone seems to like it so maybe I got a bad batch. I ended up just throwing it away I just couldn’t handle this scent. I burned half of it though.

@@MrKongsMomit was very soapy to me. No I really didn’t smell the lavender but there was something in there that was very soapy. I know you love this fragrance but I guess it just wasn’t for me. You and I are fragrance twins as I love the gourmand scents too. And, I too wish Kringle would come out with a gourmand/ bakery line. I would purchase them all. Lol
