I was always a Gordon fan, but my God there was something absolutely amazing seeing that black number 3 just ripping through that field in that last clip. I always heard Sr could see the air, but that sure made me a believer.

Even though Earnhardt lost that 500 against Jarrett, I couldn't be mad because of how clean they were racing, and also Ned's excitement knowing his son won it.

@@coleomo 4:25. Ned Jarrett is pulling for his son Dale Jarrett against Dale Earnhardt. After the race, Ned tried to apologise to Earnhardt who only smiled and said "I'm a dad too"

Ned Jarrett cheering on his son in the announcer booth as Dale Jarrett won the Daytona 500 is one of my favorite moments in NASCAR, and I feel one of the more underrated calls in sports.

9:20-11:00, that was a heck of a drive by Brad to win that race. I still think that Benny Parsons, Wally Dallenbach and Allen Bestwick were one of the best combinations in the broadcast booth. Benny and Wally both had great knowledge about the cars and Allen was a great play by play guy.

Here they come.. checkered flag... HARVICK!! That to me, was easily one of the top 5 finishes to a race I have ever seen. Mark Martin came soooooo close

It's a shame that such a classy guy like Martin lost his 500 win to a piece of shit like harvick
@monstermikeheinrichs
@monstermikeheinrichs 5 жыл бұрын
The only reason I didn't like that finish is because I knew that that was Mark Martin's best shot at finally winning the 500, and it was probably his last chance at getting it. So, as much as I like Kevin Harvick, that one hurt a little.

I like smack talking Kyle Busch as much as anyone. Especially when he is whining about situations most would be super happy with. But you have to give it to that guy for being in almost all of these clips and setting right at the front almost every time! That's talent back when he was in the 5 car and now it's talent and experience!

The only time I didn't mind Stewart winning off a crash at 2:05 Bush was doing great block racing but had to know he was beat before he put himself off Stewart and into the wall. a little sportsmanship would have gone a long way there!

Unpopular opinion: the COT wasn’t that bad when it came to the racing, and it excelled on the Plate Tracks
@BobbyT.

Noah Fulks The big thing that bugged me about the COT was the F1 wing, it felt like a tack on instead of an actual spoiler. Once they went to the spoiler in 2010-2011 it looked better and the races got better.
