as someone who has been playing piano since i was a child, i’d like to point out kaze’s absolute confidence in his skills while he plays. he doesnt hesitate to do anything, he simply gets lost in passion. even piano players for many years have trouble playing such a difficult piece with such confidence and emotion. it is absolutely beautiful. thank you for the reaction!

This song which was one of the songs in his first album and it became huge worldwide last year. He'd been uploading cover songs since very young but as a piano player, then started singing several years ago. As his huge fan, I love all of his songs, but I would like to recommend Matsuri and Garden for the next ones! Thank you.

Fujii Kaze (Pronounced 'Foo-G Kah-Zay". Hit up his "Tiny Desk" performance. Even if you don't speak Japanese, his presence and charisma is so great, there is almost no way it doesn't become your favourite live performance. The dude's entire performance s like wearing a warm knit sweater on a cold morning. It's perfectly comfy.

Yeah, he's Japanese. It's Fu-jEE Ka-Zeh. He does a mix of JPop and R&B. This one would fall under his R&B style. Got a super funky vibe on this one, with the bit of deep gravel at the end of some of the lines after smooth mid tones. ^_^ A neat FYI, he's been doing this stuff on YT since he was like.. 12 or so. Something like 14-15 years! O_O (Still recommend checking out some Gackt or Hyde. Some of the bigger, and older, names in the JRock/Pop industry)

Great insight on the song, which is very difficult to pin down genre wise. I say this because he starts classical then hits a op-like speed rendition of the same piece, only to switch back to the classical riff. Just when you think you have it pinned down for sure, he moves to a jazzy, r&b style with a sprinkling of hip hop. Again, very nice insights. Btw, Fujii Kaze is the name of the artist, who is a soloist. 😃
