Worked the 2nd shift in the latter part of the 90's and would get home 5 minutes before the show started. Enough time to get changed, grab an MGD and fire up a Marlboro Light. This show was like hanging out with an old friend. Miss Tom and Harry, along with smoking and drinking.

Back when Tom Snyder had his shows on late at night, I was constantly traveling for work over several years. I cannot count how many times Tom gave me something great to watch in my latest temporary room after a long day of travel to yet another city I’d never properly visit. And then I could go to sleep having laughed, learned something about people, and decompressed. Thank you Tom wherever you are.

Tom Snyder was a great interviewer. He had the great balance between talking and listening.

He lived a good life but, it was a short one.

I always loved that he openly admitted to being a hustler. ❤️ RIP

This is actually the Late Late Show on CBS (1990's after Letterman); not the old Tomorrow show on NBC.
