This trick frustrated me for almost a month but I finally understand how it goes. Now I can land it more consistently. The part at 1:03 specifically is what made the trick finally click for me. Having the string from the throw-hand not only underneath the yo-yo but going to the left half (right half for lefties) in order to make the loop large enough to where you can see the mount form in mid-air. There it makes landing the triangle easier.
