This was my fathers favorite musician. In November of 2016 his aneurism burst and he was slowly dying and very uncomfortable. I put this on and layed my phone next to his ear. He looked at and smiled and passed away peacefully

I want to do a study and measure dopamine levels in people when this song is played. The second it comes on, my eyes start swelling up with happy tears, my skin gets goosebumps, and then when the rest of the band starts coming in, I get super excited and start "air playing" all the instruments in the car. It makes me want to pull over and start dancing in the streets. Fantastic song.

When this album came out, our neighborhood postman gifted it to my Mom. I fell in love with it so much, I chose to learn how to play brass, starting with trumpet. I parlayed that into joining a Drum & Bugle Corps, meeting lifelong friends along the way. This song is a gift. Thank you, Chuck Mangione, for this masterpiece.

Yeah I like some of the old stuff of pop rock and songwriters. I even have still the special place in my heart for the guys like Sinatra ? Bennett? Dean ? Jerry Vale ? And so on. In fact? I will on many of Sunday mornings will play my special mix. With all these greats . Salute to Chuck who I also saw perform back in the late 80s I even got to meet Chucks pop . The two men are great. Chuck Mangione had always being one of my favorite performers from my youth, so it is not surprising that when he came to a High School near woodbine, MD where my family lived, that I would want to sit as close as I possibly could to the stage where he played his hit songs. I was probably 23 years old but for that one night, I was a teenager again. He made his way through the back of the auditorium and toward the main stage while playing :Feel so good" and let me tell you, as he walked by me, I was filled with joy, I jumped off my seat, I applauded and shout with glee, I can truly say that everytime I hear this song, I remember that night, when nothing mattered except that two hours later, it was over. Thank you Chuck Mangione, thank you to the people who gave us tickets to that concert, too, you made a difference that night.

On this day in 1978 {July 28th} Chuck Mangione performed "Feels So Good" on the NBC-TV program 'The Midnight Special'... Five months earlier on February 11th it entered Billboard's Hot Top 100 chart; eventually it peaked at #4 and spent almost a half-year on the Top 100 {25 weeks}... And on May 13th, 1978 it reached #1 {for 1 week} on Billboard's Adult Contemporary Singles chart... The Top 100 version was 3 minutes & 28 seconds, while the album version was 9 minutes & 42 seconds...

@@4vasquezaussies895 That doesn't mean you can't dislike a video you don't like. You could dislike a video because you don't like its quality or the specific performance in it or whatever else. Besides, disliking a video helps youtube's algorithms to avoid showing you again things that you aren't interested in.

I really really love this piece of music. A delight from my formative years. I too never heard lyrics with it, and Rob Mathis did a phenomenal job with the vocals !!!! WOW this is by far my favorite rendition of Chuck's best number!!!!

I didn't get into jazz until I was about 20, even playing trumpet In middle school. Just as I got into it the only jazz radio station shut down. That sucked. I liked this song for a long time before I knew what it was called. Thanks to king of the hill I learned😂
