Since to now, still love this good memories song. when my daughter wedding she bring this song again, make me tear of memory my mother and now my daughter . @Marti Grant Most definitely! Brian Jones' contribution to the early music of the Stones was incredible! He played most of those instruments and gave each song a unique sound that no one could. I mean who used a recorder on a song? Or a slide guitar. Or played the harmonica like him? He was truly amazing, however, you'll never hear any of the original Stones, with the exception of perhaps Bill Wyman, give the deceased man any credit where credit is long overdue! Bill Wyman was the only Stone that attended the funeral of Brian. How sad is that?

Rodger Waters had him there strictly to play exactly like Syd Barrett and to play the part but no one could play that part. So Rodger figured he has to take things into his own hands and make it his band in his way. Pink Floyd is Rodger Waters from then on like Mick Jagger is that of The Rolling Stones

This song by Keith may be one of the best things he ever wrote. He poured his heart and soul into every line and every note. He didn't even have to collaborate with Mick on this one. It is pure Richards. The phrasing of each line shows the complex sensitivity and sophistication Keith has always been capable of but seldom employed to this extent. Reminiscent of, As Tears Go By... Jones added a nice recorder accompaniment to Keith's masterpiece and that accompaniment may be Brian's biggest contribution the the band's sound he ever made..
