People used to believe that a near-sighted vision is a result of staring at the computer too much. I look at my computer all day long but never get that condition. I'm a right-handed person, not an ambidextrous one, by the way. Sometimes I try not to be short-sighted, because having a long-term vision for my life is vital. Thanks for the lesson.

Thanks Kevin for new vocabulary. They have appropiate use for my regular basis. I have a doubt. Empty- handed , I can use when someone goes for something and comes back without nothing. Right? Thanks in advance for clarifying it.

"Far-sighted" - not "long-sighted"- having or showing imagination or foresight; prudent. Ex: A far-sighted investor.
@EDP2500

In modern British English, short-sighted and long-sighted are used to refer to a person's vision problem while in American English, near-sighted and far-sighted are used instead to mean the same thing. To refer to a person's foresight, shorted-sighted and far-sighted are often used.

@@fredylopez2477 Out of curiosity, I did try to look up the word "previsional", but found "prOvisional" instead. Are you sure you're not using a Spanish dictionary?🤔

Here i understand about open-minded..but now mostly i heard that if we did not follow their rule, their style, they called it " open- minded.." oh they are totally wrong.

Some of these words combine two words using a hyphen, some other just combine them directly in one word. Is there a rule on when to use the hyphen? Please everyone, like this comment so that Kevin can see it .
