I bought a new display today, it's Xiaomi, 30", 2K, I'm happy, though now, I have a balance on my credit card and I need to pay it off as soon as possible.I haven't paid off my previous debt for a processor yet, but the currency is devaluing, prices are rising, and I decided to be proactive.

What about “payed” as the past tense and past participle of “pay”; does anyone still use it, or is it still common in actual writing?

Thank you for the valuable information. What's the difference between paid off and paid for. Can I say the house is paid for ? Or should I say the house is paid off. Please advise. Thank you ❤

Hi guy, great lesson as usual, but i knew i could use that in the followin way too: i hope the effort you put in learning english may pay you off. thanks in advance.

As far as I’m concerned, this expression has another meaning, for example, when you yield profits from doing something worth doing. I mean, when the result outweighs the efforts having been made.

Howdy. just a quick question. How are we supposed to pronounce " accounting"? I hear sometimes T is pronounced clearly, but sometimes T is silent in American English environment. Are they both normal and acceptable? Thank you!
@delbertoersipuny4990 Жыл бұрын
You can whether pronounce "T" (British accent) or pronounce without say the "T" (American english), it depends what accent do you prefer And yeah, both are correct and acceptable
