A couple quick tips for anyone who wants to do this: 1. Put your first 10 levels into fortitude. 20 fortitude and full primitive desert cloth is usually enough to survive the heat 2. Make a 1x1 thatch hut on the first day as soon as possible. Everywhere on the except the big ravine thing in the Center makes you overheat from around 1:30-3:30 in-game clock. 3. Don’t be afraid of wyverns. In the middle of nowhere just walk around them you’ll be fine. In the trench however, don’t be scared to fight them. Only poison wyverns pose a real threat to you if you’re on a good level argy (since they hit the rider with the spit attack). 4. Jug bugs and jerboas are your best friends early game. Jerboas give way more hide than they really should, and jug bugs can quench your thirst if you’re in a pinch, plus free chitin if you can kill them 5. Megatheriums are the most dangerous creatures on scorched in my opinion so steer clear of them. The insane abundance of insects on scorched put wild ones in a frenzy most of the time, and bug rage megatheriums are one of the strongest creatures in the game. Tamed, they’re also overpowered since they’re great harvesters and look cool. 6. South zone 3 is a great spawn zone. Usually you spawn on the little plateau thing with silk flowers, a water vein and usually there isn’t raptors. Plus it’s flat and good for base building. 7. Utilise flame arrows. They are way better than you think. The crafting materials for propellant aren’t as hard as you think. Sulfur can be found on most mountains and oil is available everywhere. In the night a flame arrow loaded crossbow also functions as a torch

I learned so much about Ark from my friends who have been playing Ark for about 6 years now, and I'm still learning so much about it. I know this doesn't help now, but if you are being circled by a microraptor, just dismount. Would you rather 1. get stuned and dismounted against your will 2. Dismount yourself without stun. Hard options, choose wisely. Oh shit, i was thinking of that base spot, that's where i did my SE playthrough. Really is the safest spot in the middle of the map. Almost 50-50

The thing I like the most about those 100 days are them being vanilla, no mods, no BS, no cheats, just actual ark gameplay. I really wish you continued thru the other arks.. It is not that I don't enjoy ASA, the series is cool, or would be, but unfortunately the mods are starting there and it is becaming just like every other Ark youtuber, all mods and stuff... man, I miss the clean ark vids already, lol

A good way to not die from thirst is to eat any berry (that isn’t a stimberry of course) to be at the edge of being thirsty, it’l give you more time to find water and it helps you replenish stamina.

If you are on a mount and see Microraptors swirling around, just jump off your mount. After jumping off, the Raptor will still hit you, but you won’t be stunned and can fight back.
