Not going to argue $17,000 isn't a lot of money, but equivalent to the bet size it's 56x the bet which is a pretty standard win, would be the equivalent of winning $170 on a $3 bet which I am sure most gamblers achieve a similar win at least once every gambling session or so. Still a crazy win if you usually bet small and were doing $300 bets as a one off.

Once increased to $5 or even $10 I notice a lot more dead spins. If a machine has a RTP of 96% one would expect that over all bet amounts, but from experience I'd say those betting smaller are getting bigger payouts (based on the x amount of their bet)
