Nice review. Quick question: can this be used as an electric guitar, ie with 9-42 elctric strings? If so, can it produce an acoustic sound (using some internal simulation) if needed.

This can be. But this is an acoustic guitar at the core and it needs acoustic strings to be put on.

Does it play good metal tones? The overdrive and solo sounds good but can you adjust the distortion for very heavy sounds?

This could be a great review! Why the annoying background music? It takes away from the great work you're doing. So annoying and it has no connection to the instrument you are reviewing and the sound you can crate with it. Other than that, keep up the good work.
