It will go faster with a 8hp for sure. A good option if you want an upgrade but never seen a selva outboard so can’t comment on them bud. Let me know how you get on.🎣🎣👍

What are your thoughts now on the Honwave32 and 5hp Honda…
@Andysfishon Жыл бұрын
It was great with just me onboard, but with another adult it slowed it down. I liked it for the beach launches nice and light but if there’s two adults then a 9.9hp is your best bet. I’ve also tried it with a 15hp but very twitchy a high speed, 9.9hp for me on the t32.👍🏻

Hi Andy, I am maybe buying a new 380 air floor tomorrow, do you still recommend the honwave? Regards.
@Andysfishon Жыл бұрын
Yes definitely a well built sib bud, I will definitely get a bigger honwave at some point, looking at the t35 due to the extra width and the aluminium flat deck. I would trailer it though couldn’t bare keep putting it up and down every trip.👍👍🎣

@@Andysfishon Brilliant, thanks for your input. I have a quicksilver 360HD at the mo with a 25 HP Yamaha. It’s been a great little boat but it’s so heavy, it has ply floorboards which are a pain to put in once never mind every time you go out in it so it’s on a trailer! Will trailer the honwave too and use my 25 yam, it’s a 2006 2 stroke I bought new, the weight should be ok for the honwave with it being a 2 stroke, should shift well also. Thanks again. 👍

Hi there I have a van like ours but my van is a Renault traffic and I have a hydrus3 3.7m it's not done out like ours it's as seats in the back I'm just wondering if you was to let the air out off the front tube will it go up to the bulkhead I have not done it because the boat is still in its box m8
@Andysfishon3 жыл бұрын
Think it will be to wide for the van unless you put it on its side, but could be wrong. I let the air out of my one every trip but I do have a winch on my roof rack which I might use at some point. Oban on the water puts his straight on the roof rack. Sorry I can’t be of any more help.

Hi, nice vid! Have you ever tried the max speed with 2 people on?
@Andysfishon Жыл бұрын
Yes bud and only managed 8mph with two adults , but will upgrade at some point but fine with just me and Skye at the moment. Plus a bigger 4 stroke engine say a 9.9hp will be a lot more quieter when trolling for the bass.👍🏻
@MustRunTonyo Жыл бұрын
@@Andysfishon sure...I was thinking maybe with 2 people 6 hp would get some more speed? Cause if i go to 10 hp its much heavier
@Andysfishon Жыл бұрын
Weight of an outboard is a normal consideration depending on where you intend to launch from, I will keep my 5hp for beach launches and the bigger one will be mainly for slipway launches. But if there is two of you then you should be able to cope. To be honest if you buy a 6hp for two of you then it won’t be long before you want an upgrade to a larger hp outboard especially it you get into some bad weather and want to get back in quick. Hope this helps you out, if you have any other questions then feel free to ask.👍🏻
@MustRunTonyo Жыл бұрын
@@Andysfishon i understand, thanks for the details. But my situation is that i need to inflate and deflate every time, doing beach launches, thus i am limited to max 6hp weight. I'm not looking for speed and I'd be going out only in plain calm nice weather in the Mediterranean, not ocean, so i suppose i should be fine!
