Oof the depiction of trauma and dissociation and needing grounding is very realistic. It seems like 'Raccoon' was introduced to the concept of puppy play and then took that into his subsequent relationships, though I think we don't yet know how that first situation ended or if it ended (or wildest theory, if its all in his head and is his relationship with himself), but the one with the ring exchange ended with cheating as we were told last episode, and now from the preview it looks like Shu Guang is also in a complicated situation. No wonder Raccoon is dealing with insomnia if he has had this in his recent past.
