Hello Thischannels dz I want to finish this speargun project first, before making it available. This is a very old dream that I have since I was 12 yars old, back then I remember cutting off the handle of a platic toy hand gun to make the speargun grip, and bending a leftouver piece of plastic tube that I found on a near by construction site to make the snorkel tube! I designed this trigger mechanism using a Cad program. The only dimensions that I can provide are: The trigger housing dimensions= 13x30x65mm, wall thickness: 2mm the Trigger and Sear= 5mm thick. Its all stainless steel? if so,i think its very difficult to cut it to trigger shape with saw. But you did it like wood. What kind a hand saw did you use? Thank you for sharing your valuable vid~

CK E Hello CK E, I used 316 grade stainless steel, as you can see in the video i used a bran new haksaw blade, it is from "Starrett tools" and that helped a lot! and to make it cut faster, in de video i speed up the images 10x !!! Thanks for the comment and for watching my videos!
@making98409 жыл бұрын
MrMyvids4you thank you for fast answering~ one more thing, how is it to use aluminum instead of steel, i think its very easy to treat than steel. Its too weak to use it in a trigger ?
@MrMyvids4you9 жыл бұрын
CK E Hello CK E, my opinion will be not to use aluminum, the trigger mechanism is the most important piece of the speargun, any one atempting to make one should know that a trigger failure can potentially creat a very dangerous situation. Use 316 grade stainless steel.

+Sapna Anoushka Hello Sapna Anoushka, that will not be possible, i have to finish making the spearguns and after testing it for some time, it´s very important to know if it works in real life situations, and that is safe to use it. Thanks for the comment and for watching my videos!

Hello, how or where can I get the print out? Thanks!
@MrMyvids4you5 жыл бұрын
Hello britesynth I designed this trigger using a CAD program "Google Sketchup" making the plans available will not be possible, however i can give some overall dimensions from the trigger mechanism - The trigger housing dimensions= 13x30x65mm, wall thickness: 2mm .Trigger and Sear= 5mm thick. All made from 316 grade stainless steel Some of my channel viewers told me, that by using any free screen recorder program is possible to take "screen shots" from some of my videos, and then using a image editing program like "PAINT" to scale the images to get the right sizes. Watch the video "Roller Speargun Design Model" kzbin.info/www/bejne/laK0iXp7nNxoppo at 1:03 is possible to see a side view of the trigger mechanism. Thanks for the comment and for watching.

can you give the correct measurements for sear and trigger
@MrMyvids4you8 жыл бұрын
Hello Jose Amaya, I want to finish this speargun project first, before making it available. The only dimensions that I can provide are: The trigger housing dimensions= 13x30x65mm, wall thickness: 2mm Trigger and Sear= 5mm thick. All made from 316 grade stainless steel I´m very confident about this design, but I need to fiel test it, over a long period of time before making it available. Some of my channel viewers told me that is possible to take "screen shots" from some of my videos and then using scale to get the right sizes. Watch the video "Roller Speargun Design Model" kzbin.info/www/bejne/laK0iXp7nNxoppo at 1:03 is possible to see a side view of the trigger mach. Thanks for the comment and for watching my videos!

Hello Houshad Dakar before making any plans available, first i have to finish this project and test it to now if performes well, and that is safe to use it. As i progress with the construction i´m constantly making changes to the original design, that´s one more reason not to provide de plans now. Thanks for the comment and for watching my videos!
