What exactly happened here at 1:05 with N&W 2123? At first it had a hooter whistle that the Y class is very well known for but then 10 seconds later at 1:25 it's whistle have changed before reverting back to hooter at 1:50. Did N&W 2123 have two whistles or was there another locomotive passing by?

Except #2123 was not a Y6b. Believe it was a Y3 without dragging out the books.

I think we're both wrong. It's a Y6a, and that's what I get for copying directly from an album cover from the late 70s!!!

Scott Golenski Y6. I can't read, I was thinking 2023 instead of 2123. Y6 was 2120 thru 2154. Y6a was 2155 thru 2170. Y6b was 2171 thru 2200.
