No ones is just a different game, im a champ peak gc and i know for a fact there are ssls I can beat. Theres only so much you have to do in ones, 2s and 3s is much harder because its simple to get it past 1 person when you have control + space but its harder to maintain control whilst getting it past 1 person and to be able to do the same thing to the next defender attacking in that small instance where you lose control

There are plats that could beat that champ, just depends on your playstyle. That doesn’t mean that the Plats could beat an SSL though. You can lose to people higher rank and win against a higher rank, to a certain extent. A lot of it has to do with how your specific play style interacts with your opponents and how well both players can adapt.

That’s actually true yesterday I beat a s13 champ tourney winner (it was plat 3 in one’s) and the only reason I won was because I waited for him to mess up, then take the open nets. The key is to let them mess up

well 1s is a whole different world someone can be a lower rank than somebody and still beat the higher rank, a lower rank that plays 1s a lot can most likely beat the higher rank if the higher rank doesnt play 1s.

ky twos partner and i added a mandatory bo3 1's to warm up and bro ima be real im not that good im a d3/c1 line and it was a game changer. 1s makes such a massive difference.. but thewill to grind is low.@@snolation

if you want to be good at this game you have to devote time to 1s wether its against a person or free play, but i want to see a vid where a diamond is placed with 2 gc's for a week. you see the progress, im convinced if i was to be put in the lobbies or someone else for an extended period of time. it would force you to see every mistake and adapt.@@snolation

I’m gc1-2 (1600s) and sometimes I lose to champ1-2. It takes a while to adjust to their playstyles. Sometimes they hit/miss unexpectedly which throws me off.

Thats quite true. Im a washed up c2 player and after a break in this season I got placed into d3. ANd for some reason I just suck and cant get back up there. Its either me depending on the teammate too much or the enemy chasing and missing or hitting crazy stuff. Very confusing. But then with no teammate I find it easier to play 2 v1. Even won 2 games 2 v1 few days ago. Only ROcket League can do this hahaha

it isn't the SSL's fault they lost, it's just because they are not good in 1v1s and just like the 2nd SSL said: "i'm more of a 3's player brother". Just grab landen and change his username or ApparentlyJack and change his username too, then it would be guaranteed victory for the SSL and you would not have to watch "rocket league i suppose" XD Other than that, this video was a blast and i'm proud to say that i said i like Mr-Napkin better than striped ;D

None of those guys are SSL in 1s, and not even close. I looked up their Rocket League Tracker, and they are both C3 in 1s. Elitealphaleader were literally the only player who was not Champ in 1s, he was D3, so the jump werent even that big in that game either

The SSL needs to be SSL in 1v1 for this video concept to work. 1v1 requires a very different skill set and play style than 2v2 and 3v3. With good teamplay and positioning, it becomes beneficial to make riskier plays and positioning. A play that you should absolutely go for in 3v3 could have a high chance of costing you a goal in 1v1.
