The actual amount of people that are allergic to MSG is probably 1/1000th of the amount that claim the allergy. I remember the anti-MSG bullshit propaganda campaign on the news when I was a kid. All of a sudden local restaurants stopped using because American society now viewed it as the anti-christ of seasonings. Meanwhile the dumbasses that I knew that claimed they were allergic to it, were using chicken bouillon and other seasonings at home that were loaded with MSG. BTW, I'm a white American and I approve of this message!

100% agree. It is very weird, but as long as his obsession is not causing any harm it is fine. Addictions only need to be fought if they will cause harm in some way. From the looks of it he does not have to be around balloons 24/7, so it does not inhibit him from navigating society.
