Top speed depends on the variant of the huey. The H model has a cruise speed of approximately 108 knots with a never exceed speed of 117 knots. The twin Huey N model has a top speed of 119 knots

Max speed for a huey is 110 knots, might be diferent for other version, for instance the ch-146 go about 120 to 140 kt ish. As always nice job cant wait to see the finished product.

Looks awesome, Cant wait for 1.0, as for the AP, i would say let it just hover around the point till you turn it off, i like it that way. but thats me

Maybe you could make the autopilot loiter around the location once it gets there? Like a nice lil circle?

How do you move the logic around without breaking the connections? Or did you just place it again and reconnect it once you'd found the spot?
@apexking12332 жыл бұрын
There is a magical function that I quite love alot in stormworks called selection grid if you cut something with it and paste it on the creation it retains all the connections on it saving you a heap of time having to rewire it. It has saved me countless hours trying to move logic around my creations without needing to worry about reconnecting things

@absolutenift22344 жыл бұрын
Instead of turning the autopilot off when you get within a certain distance have it use roll and pitch to stay on the point. If your steering value is from -1 to 1 (-1/1 directly behind you and 0 directly in front) you can multiply it by Pi and then cos of that will be pitch and sin will be roll. I then multiply those values by the distance to the point and I can get a creation perfectly on the point.

Constructive comment: why is the tail so big? On the reference images, the end vertical portion of the tail is much thinner.
@deltavii74994 жыл бұрын
You can only make things so thin in Stormworks
@totallynotkeith54874 жыл бұрын
Not that axis I mean lengthwise its thick
@deltavii74994 жыл бұрын
Totally not Keith What do you mean lengthwise it’s thick? Like long?
@totallynotkeith54874 жыл бұрын
On the same axis as the length of the helicopter hull. It extends on this axis to much and can be seen as "thick." I am not talking about any vertical or horizontal width axis, I know there is a limit to how thin you can make things, but this can be fixed.

I really liked this build and following along, but you really, really need to show how you did the all of the logic and electrical. I followed along step by step and did almost everything you did except for the doors. You just skipped over the logic like it was second-nature to everyone watching. It is extremely frusturating to me because it feels like I just wasted the past three hours. I'm going to keep watching regardless, but right now I just have a helicopter that can't move with a bunch of dials and monitors that don't do anything.
