The Spark Extractor never seems like it extracted sparks so much as snuffed them out. And it was never indicated to be limited to anything short of a blast radius. A neutron bomb for the cybertronian soul.

a weapon that I find pretty ludicrous that appears often but we rarely get to see in action is the glass gas and relative dispensers; it's a chemical which as the name implies, tends to the gaseous state and affect metal making it as brittle as the average glass pane. we see used it as a short range spray or as long-range payload cannon in the g1 comic and it's often referred on right out of panel as a tool (one of the weapon in lore is the overclock of a tool used by the protectobot to breach in during rescue operation)

If I had to pick which weapon still sounds the most terrifying has to be the Spark Extractor the thing basically tears out your soul and depending on the series either your soul is constant outside of your body till it pops back into something I.e the G1 timeline with beast machines or just snuffed out and is basically an aoe grenade like Transformers Prime and jaut poof ye that is till the most terrifying weapon in all of cybertron’s list of “tools to delete the opposing not a friend”

Near the end of prime, the Autobots actually use the spark extractor against a vehicon army. The thing goes off like a bomb and shuts down every vehicon around for miles, even those why try to fly away in jet mode just drop to the ground.

So glad to see the Armada Minicon Weapons make the list and especially the Hydra Cannon. Honestly I wish the would combine the Armada and Thirteen Primes origin for these weapons, like they were the weapons of the Primes but had to be divided amd hidden due to their strength and the pieces were then given life as Minicons. You need to look up The Ark from Transformers Cybertron, it was a Giant Gun made from the 4 Colony Ships and it was powered and wielded by Primus himself to destroy the giant Multiverse Black Hole that was made when Unicron was Destroyed. So originally in Shattered Glass the Omega Terminus was just the alternate version of Vector Sigma with the Terminus Blade being their version of The Key to Vector Sigma. It was later retconed into the Multiverse Artifact of the Primes... which is just kind of annoying.

Uh…they USED the spark extractor in the show if you recall. It killed half the decepticon army in about two seconds, literally a transformer WMD with zero collateral damage. Megatron himself only survived it because he destroyed the device before the shockwave hit him. What was the max blast radius we will never know because again, megatron destroyed it before we could see.

The energon harvester in Prime was a mining tool that could be used to drain transformers, it did not seem very effective but that could be because it was used against Bulkhead (who is ridiculously tough).

The 7000 decibel quote got my brain thinking. Decibels are not a liniar form of measurement. There logarithmic. So 40db is 10 times louder then 30 dB. Point blank gun fire is in the is between 140-165db depending on the ammunition. A rocket launch is around 190db. Anything over 200+ is fatal and stops being sound and is considered a shockwave A nuke is over 220 up to a potential 280db. I've looked at sum shit. A 1100db shockwave has enough energy to create a point blank black whole with the weight of 5kg and the size of a atom. And a 7000db has billions and billions of times the power. ..... Put that helicopter fuck on top of the list man can make a point blank super massive black whole.

The spark extractor is terrifying. When we see it used in prime, it eminates a constantly growing field that instantly kills anyone who comes in contact with it, and the limit of its range is unknown because negation destroys it before it can get too big.

We actually see the spark extractor get used, it gets used during the finale of season 2 I think of prime, the one of the autobots activate it in the middle of a small army of decepticons and they’re already immediately dead before megatron destroys it with the dark star saber

Brainstorm is kind of the other side of the time shenanigans coin that includes Shockwave (Who masqueraded as Oynx Prime after murdering him, and essentially rewrote Cyberonian lore for his own purposes) Basically Brainstorm had a mysterious suitcase he kept with him at all times. The suitcase was actually a control mechanism for several other suitcases that former a time machine. His plan was to go back in time and execute Megatron in his crib, aka "Robot Hitler". Brainstorm backs out at the last second, but Rewind does the deed after getting an info dump on a history without Megatron in it. But Rodimus and co. decide to implant this green "point one percenter" spark inside of Megs corpse, the same type of OP spark super warriors like Optimus Prime come from. (Long story short, some transformers are born from cabbage patch like spark fields and form bodies from accompanying metals, while others are constructed and get their sparks culled from the Matrix itself, which was done to fund a war effort after spark fields started drying up. Point one percenter super sparks only come from fields, never the prefab route) As it turns out this combination creates the Megatron we know. He was ALWAYS a point one percenter in a prefab body. Likewise, the cybertron gun was created in response to something Brainstorms time meddling created, the Functionist Universe and Primus/High Council threat. Between this and Shockwave, I kind of suspect when they had Wheeljack fish Optimus's and Bumblebee's energy out of a compressed black hole and used a brain module to somehow rewrite sparks from unborn cybertronians, this was a lampshade not to think too much about the details. I mean Wheeljack literally told us not to think about the theological implications of recreating a soul for smooshed bodies that only existed as pure energy. Plus comic Transformers did this all the time, Optimus existed on a 5 1/4 floppy and Bumblebee was an RC Racer at one point.
