One theory I've seen for Waspinator's endurance is that being possessed by Starscream caused their immortality to 'rub off' on him.

Apparently the reason for Waspinator being unkillable is simply because he is loved by fans. He was originally meant to be killed and Terrorsaur was meant to be upgraded but he was so popular that the writers left him alive even though they hated the character and found his verbal tic annoying.

Originally they became maximals and Predacons for energy conservation, which is why they also became the size of basically humans but I guess that is gone out the window recently and now they are all the size of regular Transformers.

So you didn't mention all the horrible things Megatron did in the beast machines series. He stripped all the cybertonians of their sparks, turned their bodies into his drone army, turned himself into a giant flying fortress head, then became a wolf lizard beast, and then turned into Optimus Primal's season 3 body.

@@Mate397 so if i remember correctly, i think megatron was attempting to spark extract himself and switch bodies but the process malfunctioned and his spark got trapped in the organic half and then played dumb (fooling the maximals) to sneak back into his fortress to then escape the body to ultimately form with the floating head

You know if Beast Wars Megatron had succeeded in altering the timeline, G1 Megatron would never give up his power, he would make certain that the "Great Upgrade" wouldn't happen because the Decepticons would bever want to give up their intimidating sizes. Also the Matrix would be destroyed and Unicron would devour Cybertron with nothing to stop him. So in the end Beast Wars Megatron would have erased himself from existence.

The reason why Predacus is made of vehicles is because it was the beginning of the Maximals and Predacons, so they didn’t have beast modes yet. Plus as an aside, he’s the same dude as Tri-Predacus, just with Tarantulas and Ravage added on. As for if I would add anyone to the list: probably the Blentrons from Beast Wars Neo for being Heralds of Unicron, Galvatron from Beast Wars 2 for being Lio Convoy’s rival, his Warworld “Nemesis” and his later use as a body for Unicron, and lastly Tarantulas, not for strength, but for his smarts, his link to the Vok and Unicron and the fact he may be the Armada Transformer Sideways in disguise. Otherwise, great vid! Very informative!

predacons and maximals can become vehicles thanks to one of the high predicus council members on the right of 3:59 one is a jet mode and protoform x can turn into some what of a tank mode i think they dont turn into vehicles unless thier small since the great reboot of cybertron where they downsized and turned into smaller animals

What about Inferno? He was also pretty strong, and the only one beside megatron himself whom actually had some succes afterall I season 3 he actually had earned the rank sub commander. And unlike some other predacons he never got the upgrade of transmetal or transmetal two. Yet still till the end of the season he was competent (as far as the bad guys were allowed to be.) in fights. Unlike Rhinox whom later no longer took part in the action himself.

if I remember correctly the beast modes thing was hinted at as being a fuel efficency upgrade post war as megatron said "archaic energon guzzlers" with some unintentional quirks it's also likley why the predicons and maximals all trace there heritage back to that war edit one of the primary benefits is that killing them is actually really hard given that we see them get mutilated all the time likley you gotta wreck the spark chamber and it seems like energon drain/bleed is nonexistant with them

My headcannon about waspinator was that he didn't have an immortal spark like starscream, his body was just so cheaply and simply put together that it was dirt simple and easy to put him back together and replace his parts even well past the point another transformer would have died. He's the honda civic of transformers.

With regard to the Japanese cartoons, just avoid their version of Prime and the sequel the did for it (Go!) because that's just weird and creepy stuff considering Airachnid as a major thing there. You also missed the altmode of BW Megatron from the "Theft of the Golden Disc" short that's a prequel to Beast Wars. As a side note, if you look into things Tarantulas is not a Predacon...he's a plant and spawn of Unicron. So Predacus might not, exactly, be a predacon...

I was about to say if we are talking immortal bot, we gotta get our boy Waspinator in here. Fella literally get shredded to bits every episode and came back perfectly fine. His 1% ability is cartoon slapstick. As for Beast War Megatron, while of course he wouldn't win in a fight against someone like Predaking, he wouldn't have fought him in the first place. Well, not without a plan at least. BW Megatron is a schemer, not a fighter (although he got strength aplenty) and do not trust anyone beside himself. His Predacons didn't even know the true purpose of them coming to Earth until the last moment, after all. So imo, if he meet Predaking, Megatron would definitely play the long con and try to ingratiate himself to Predaking, perhaps trying to form an alliance or get him to target the Maximals for him. Only until the time is right that Megatron would backstab him. This isn't to say BW Megatron would win, but he definitely wouldn't immediately pick a fight.
