Constructicons and Omega Supreme. Loved that dynamic in gen 1. We also have Starscream and Jetfire, Optimus and Sentinel in animated (on the same team though), Superion and Menasor, Bruticus and Defensor, Computron and Abominus, Skylynx and Predaking and an odd one... Blitzwing and Warpath in gen 1. The only reason I say that last one is that they have two tank clashes in season 2. Idk if that last one made it any further.

Only rivalry that comes to mind (and I don't even know if this one *counts* since it was technically only in one episode, and pretty one-sided) but I think there was something between Soundwave and Soundblaster in Cyberverse, where they were portrayed as two separate characters? A similar thing might have been going on in the War for Cybertron Netflix trilogy, but it was just vaguely referenced. I dunno, I always found it interesting and wondered if there was more to the story, but I think those are the only two things that show the two as separate, not as the same character. I was gonna say Ratchet and Knock out from Prime, both the medics of the groups, one couldn't careless about humanity and really anything to do with earth but fights to protect it, the other had a fondness for humanity's culture and even enjoys partaking in it, but would be all to glad to help destroy it. Plus both in the end helped the other side, Ratchet helped megatron get the cybermatter to rebuild cybertron, and Knockout officially joined the autobots to stop Unicron's predicon terracons

One rivalry i have in my Transformers headcanon"fanstory" is between Windblade and Slipstream. What had happened that early on after Caminus joined the war, Windblade had been among the many camians who had joined the autobots instead of evacuating or joining the decepticons like Swift. While she's far from naive or stupid she had this emotional and youthful innocence to her so Windblade was a bit naive when it came to winning the war similarly to some real life soldiers before theyre hit wity the real life truth of war. Now their rivalry would start when Windblade alongside a couple of other camians where on a simple flying mission but before she knew it all of them including her friend Maxima was slaughtered by Slipstream. Since Windblade didn't have any true experience in an actual battle, Slipstream wonnthe fight and ended up ripping out a part of Windblade's thie and blasting her on the gut leading her to crash to the ground hard. She survived but would take weeks to recover not only physically but mentally and emotionally from the brutality she had seen. She would also loose some of this innocence she had similarly to in her early IDW2005 appearance. After that it was just one fight after the other with the death of her friends being the root of it

In Animated, there were a few rivalries in the first couple of seasons. Ratchet and Lockdown was already mentioned. Prowl and Lockdown had one if I remember correctly. Sentinel and Optimus. Bumblebee and Wasp had one in their cadet days. Henry Masters and Professor Sumdak. Meltdown had one against Sumdak and the Autobots. Sarrie and Soundwave turned Soundblaster had something like one. Also why Starscream kicked Ravage out of Soundwave's hands was because Screamer wanted to focus on the larger bots rather than the smaller ones to get the Decepticon numbers up.

I have a few, - Ratchet vs Lockdown was a classic, they fought in Animated and AOE - Superion vs Menasor was pretty big in the G1 Cartoon - Then there was Dylan and Soundwave and how they were the opposite of Sam and Bumblebee, that was a pretty big one from DOTM - Speaking of DOTM, Sentinel and Optimus have a pretty notable rivalry. Starscream and Shockwave in Transformers Prime had a rivalry of second in commands. They constantly tried to prove to Megatron that they were the best right hand man. Starscream even tried to get Shockwave killed which led to Shockwave almost killing Starscream himself.

A few IDW 2005s I can think of: Skids vs Misfire, which is mentioned at the same story telling when Whirl tells his story about Killmaster. Ultra Magnus vs Swindle, pretty one-sided, but Swindle is probably on top of Ultra Magnus' list for capture. Swindle also got his payback on earth when he used off-brand Walmart combiner tech and built Menasor, and Ultra Magnus was the first victim that falls into Menasor's hands.

Each combiner has a rival: Terrocons/technobots Combaticons/protectabots Stunticons/Arielbots Constructicons/omega supreme Magmaboss/tripredacus Predicons G1/ skylinx& dinobots Kinda looking at it the Autobots get shafted because the decepticons have more combiners that the autobots don't have anyone for Monstructor and the seacons the Autobots don't really have anyone for these guys.
