Actually it is 32 MB, not mb. (b) is the symbol for bit but capital (B) is the symbol for Byte. That is the big difference. Usually the rule is that 1B = 8b. And first letter is also important. M = Mega (1 million / 1'000'000) but m = mili (1 thousandth / 0,001)

I’m impressed by your videos because I’ve seen others that claim restoration but do not go into depth when restoring these old pc computers. I mean you even go through the process of cleaning wires and screws so they look nice and new as well. To me, your videos are the real way to restore them. Great job!

See "the 8 bit guy's" youtube channel for videos on how he soaks plastic case parts in Hydrogen Peroxide under sunlight to remove yellowing. I'd never trust an old PC power supply for long, unless I replaced the old capacitors. These things were built to a price, and used cheap aluminum electrolytic caps. Same problem is found on many old motherboards too. Any such caps showing bulges in their cases have already failed, or are about to.

AT power supplies are hard to come by today, so yeah, a capacitor replacement would definitely be on my to-do list. And I wouldn't fool with cleaning the fan; I'd just replace it. That thing probably has a billion hours on it. I seem to recall a way to convert a modern ATX PSU to power an AT machine. I know there were adapter cables years ago, but you had to make some other changes as well. That would actually be my preference, because looking at the original PSU in this video, 200W seems a bit weak for my tastes. I ran a bigger PSU on a little 386, and it didn't even have a CD ROM.

This video was bring back me to childhood. The first pc I got is ....(Didn't remember the name ),windows 98,64mb of memory and pentium 3 ( or 2 I didn't remember) . When the counter strike 1.0 released,I downloaded it and play . What the hell,just got 25 fps . That time was the horrible experience on that game . But now,the i3 10100,windows 10 can't even open the game,just go to title screen and CRASH . Now I'm missed that pc 😥😥😥😥

i asked for a computer at age 12 or so, my parents gave me a windows 95 computer with like a pentium 1 or 2, that a church was giving away for free. I didnt care at the time though, it couldnt really game beyond Oregon Trail, but i thought it was great. Even as old as it was i proved to my parents computers were useful and worth having and finally got them to get us a new home pc. It had a core2duo e8400 and 4gb ram and i was proud because it ran vista smooth as butter and alot of my other friends who had computers all said vista was trash because their old xp machines didnt have the ram to run it well. They eventually replaced it with a newer one with an i5 2500 that they still use today and i turned the c2d into my first gaming pc by putting one of those cheapo slot powered gpus in it and it would run WaW zombies and Minecraft which i thought was amazing at the time haha.

try putting all the screws in a maaon jar and fill tje jar with fine grit sand and attach tje jar to the end of tje drill and let it spin for a few hours

haha had a P1 100Mhz with 48mb RAM.. had 16 before (i guess on my 386) and asked for an upgrade of 32 .. so i got additional 32 instead of 32 in total ;)
