It does work..lol I don’t know how but import showed up at the bottom of my phone so I tapped on it and all my pictures were there. This is the greatest thing since sliced bread. It works, It works, It works, It works, I didn’t really think it would when I ordered it. Thanks a lot.

Chuck, I love the idea of this reader! One question ---- can you plug in a card and a drive at the same time and transfer photos from a card to an external hard drive? I've send a link to several friends that I think will find this very helpful!

so I've had an sd card in it then plugged it into the USB to my computer and transfered pics that way

I didn’t think this would work when I first got it so I gave up on it for a couple of hours . When I went back a played with some more I discovered that after it’s been installed I clicked on the photo’s and down at the bottom right side of the phone import came up click on that and import to phone or iPad if that is what you are on. It works great! Money well spent.

Hey Chuck do you think you might be able to do something on a table cart? You know the Scissor type. There are too many on Amazon to decide. I need something to move the water heater into place as it is on a table base. When I plug my card reader in and just say USB storage and pictures are in some sort of file my android s21 won't read. My acer nitro 5 won't even read this file what is going on? This is 2022 for the love of God lol.

after reading your comment I tried this with my Samsung fold 4. my SD card has mp4 files on it and it reas the files no problem videos and pictures. not sure what file format yours are in but mp4 works

@ronaldwhite6476 yea pretty nice way to keep track of your property I use them to monitor deer activity along with other animals and trespassing on my hunting property that's 2 hours away. They connect to a cell tower like your phone and when they take a pic or video it sends it to an app on your phone to look at it. I bought a card reader but either the card or the reader is incompatible with IOS. I can see the photos on my microsoft PC, but I can’t see anything on my iPad.

Does it work with video as well? My trail cam takes a photo like every 5 seconds. It would be difficult to scroll through all those photos as compared to watching it in video form. Thanks

@@markthompson1301 dang, that sucks! I hate crooked people. I ended up buying one similar to this one( sorry don't remember the brand), and it did work as far as showing video connected to my phone. But that was with my regular video cameras. My trail cam didn't take video, only photos. But I would think if your trail cams do take video, then you should definitely be able to view that video on your phone with one of these devices.
