March Setup, troop formation review. Today we take a look at the fundamental troop formation, natural troop bonuses and march setup. Question. So it seems like different countries kind of run different setups and I heard in another in a Korean based realm they primarily go with just infantry with the higher level castles because of the new update it almost makes infantry unkillable?? Have you heard anything about this ?

I'm just starting War&Order but I've done some research and Cavs only become strong about C37 until then it's best to use infantry with Mages and archery until then

@@276rclife6 hi, 1508 here. Cavs are strong when you can get to dodge 2. In mystic college. So I wouldn't switch to Cavs untill close to c32. I personally base everything off of my artifacts. I know players that dropped 5k just in upgrading artifacts. Mages are/can be very strong since it's the only troop that give you 30% attack towards Cavs. On the other hand so many artifacts give a mage debuff. I currently run mage infantry... Again because I have so many artifacts heavy in mage infantry. As I approach c34. Then I'm pushing to c35. ( Only for the c35 gear) then I'm going to focus on the rest of my interior. Maxing out drill grounds hospital research medical tents.. mystic college and higher research.( Higher research unlocks at c30...I believe). The largest bottle neck in game is azurite.. save ALL stams for monster 26 minimum!! I repeat DONT EVER USE ANY STAMINA UNTIL YOU CAN KILL MONSTER LEVEL 26. You going to to need them for scrolls that give azurite that only come from m26-m30. Actually I would advise buying all stam that is available at a discount in game and with merchant. Oh yeah if your serious about the game but the premium benefit card it's like $55 USD for 90 days. And always have VIP running 24/7 once you hit c30. ... There's a bunch more but that's good for now lol.

First off thank you I don't know how old this video is I didn't look but if you're still responding I have a question. With the bonus that is given for each tear out and even do they disappear when that certain troop dies off the field or does it stay in the back through the whole battle?

I need some clarifications please: 1. You said that passive troop skills aply to whole army, then... why is only written specifically that in the even mage passive skill explanation? I think that the only passive skill that affects to all march is the even mage one, the others just buff te owner troop, I mean, the damage bonus of even cavs only buffs even cavs. 2. Range is the distance that the troop attack. It is nothing to do with the deploy. If so, mages would deploy far behind archers... Range icon says all: a target. Range is the range of the "weapon" that the troop uses in battle. I think that what you say about cavs deploy a little behind infantry is just an animation mistake due to different unit representations in the battle report. Range just implies that infantry have to close more than cavs to perform an attack, cavs more than archers and so on.

Answer to 1, yes just the one tier mage applies to all. I want clear and misspoke. Old age is getting to me haha

Number 2, range is the distance in which they attack from but also in the formation they take aswell. How the setup against one another is based off both armys troops used weather even or odd. This is why only frontrow is hit first unless skills used to damage backrow also.

Thank you for the video. I'm so confused. I was told NOT to send cavalry! I will go heavier on cavalry and mix with infantry to get a strong front line. My question is can you mix even and odd Infantry to fill out your army? I was told no, but I'm guessing it would be beneficial to mix the different bonuses??

Calvary are strong with the right tech and at t10 or higher but can be done at t8. Yes have even and odd in setup can use both natural troop bonuses to your advantage. Only use 500 max of the troop you dont favor. So if your mage and infantry player use only 500 of cab and archer both even and odd. One attack from enemy usually takes out the 500 troops but enemy wastes an attack turn doing so. That's the benefit on top of the natural troop bonus. Hope that helps 👊

Only send in no loss events or sos. Angel's are hard to get back if lost.

You should try adding 1 odd 1 even mage, 1 even cav, 1 odd infantry and rest even infantry and archers for your sos. Its similar to the single line formation but enemy backline wastes a hit killing the single troops so your backline hass mroe tiem to deal damage.

I have used that in my other accts and this current account. Some accts that works just fine but I've found it dosent help me on this acct. But yes that can help out depending acct. It will take one hit away from them. If you dont have dodge with cavs and use infantry, it would be useful for sure

Yes I can help bro. You can only use as many troops as your march size. If you go to drill grounds you can see your march size. Also shows in top right when you select a march to send. Raising your drill grounds will increase the troops you can send in a march, along with various other spots like beast and artifacts. Also equipment at certain levels

What front row and back row troops do you use?

I would use 40% cav or infantry, all Angel's and fill the rest with either archer/mage. The spear approach works best I've seen. I show the example in the video 👊

I use t9 infantry and t9 mage I also use sum t8 infantry and mage I bought a few t10 mage

I would send between 30 and 40% t8 infantry, all angels and the rest t9 mages. The t8 infantry have a natural buff against mages. Or you could run your slightly stronger t9 infantry but wont have the natural buff the t8 infantry give. That setup would be solo or sos

Biggest way is by drill grounds. Each level adds more. Then other ways like beast skill, emblem, equipment and the march expansion buff or lord skill

You would use same setup. There are many variations based in what you are trying to achieve like goal time and amount hit at once. But all stem from the same style setup as your main attack setup

At c30 and slowly building t10s how would you do your March? Currently have 130k t9 mage, 110k t9 inf, 155k t8 mage, 170k t8 jnf, 5k angels, and about 3k t10 Inf

Each odd and even tier has their own natural buffs against certain enemy types. Based on enemy troops both could be useful. T10 infantry and t10 archers are a great pair in my opinion. Doing even infantry with odd mage would benifit also but with right march setup as in the formation.
