It will be what happens after this. What happens to an organization made up of psychics when the head gets kidnapped? Shit happens. Everyone stops being organized, and decides to use their powers in ways that are considered... "Unethical". And you get an Asylum... A sane asylum.
@MetroXLR995 жыл бұрын
From what I read, Schafer was more interesting is Raz going to Psychonaut HQ for the sequel, BUT knew it would drive the fans crazy to skip over the rescue of Truman, which was really just one mission. Frankly, I am glad that made that one mission into a VR game. The updated graphics of a PS2 era game series really stands out in 360 virtual reality. It also give one high expectations for Psychonauts 2.

Just finished watching a complete playthrough of Psychonauts 2. Good game, but there was one question that I didn't see get answered in it that tied back to this game. Spoilers for Psychonauts 2 if you hadn't seen it yet! So in this game, at 57:00, Loboto said that he'll get a bonus if he delivers Raz's brain in one piece. This is suggesting that Loboto might have another client that isn't Gristol/Nick, since that Nick never mentioning wanting Raz's brain and Loboto not saying who this client was.. Now I might be wrong and the developers might have scraped that part in the lore, but if they hadn't I would like to have that answered at least! whether its threw a new game or just a post on one of their social medias.
@lupinforestgreen76142 жыл бұрын
Unfashionably late, but: Rhombus came out four years before 2 did and it's possible the plot of 2 may have originally been different. During Gristol's 'sad country girl....I'm going to do it again' line, the gift shop music changes to something more sinister, as if indicating it was originally a line that would have moved the story forward. Also, unused audio files in the game include certain identical voice lines for Maligula and Raz. This seems to indicate that the original climax of 2 may have involved Gristol resurrecting Maligula via transferring her consciousness into Raz's brain, allowing her to possess him. Obviously this idea was scrapped during development, if that was the idea (we'll never know for sure), but that may have been the reason Raz got strapped to the debraining chair.
@mythicaldrawer70722 жыл бұрын
@@lupinforestgreen7614 Also Unfashionably late, but I feel like that Double Fine won't forget this that easly, they may find a way to reperuse that scene in a new game or something. Untill then, we'll have to wait to conferm this.
