Part of you must have thought “at any moment someone will pull the trigger”. My skin would have gone cold in fear. Sometimes I think that when some preachers say “pray for your enemies” they have no idea that someone who opposes, can go through great lengths to try and take you down, even to a point of putting your life in danger. There was a woman who threatened to kill my girlfriend. Long story short, the woman got arrested and died in prison.

It's about time we had people praying these types of petitions when most pastors are stuck on stupid quoting Scriptures that only tell us to forgive our enemies. True, we are to forgive them and bless them but Luke chapter 18 balances it out with the parable of the widowed woman who went to the corrupt judge and demanded "Help me against my opponent"!! She was crying out for justice as you can see. Elsewhere there are verses in Scripture that share with us about God vindicating our enemies and oppressors. And before anyone says anything stupid like "you as a Christian ought not think of Gods vindication against your enemies", read Deurotomy 32:35 among many verses that talk about God vindicating our enemies. It is the word of God whether pastors like it or not. Thank you brother for being among the few who tell the truth that most pastors are even afraid of admitting!!!
