I like these kinds of experiments, really shows people that do not understand it, the power of compounding money in reselling. Reinvesting the money into inventory and buying things that will sell fairly quickly will make you more money than you can spend on items to list before long.

I used to be a big Salvation Army thrift Store shopper and donating items UNTIL I lost my home in a tragedy and having no family and not wanting to couch surf at friends i went to the local salvation Army Men's Shelter. The beds were supposed to be free but instead the 'Disciple's', (the recovering drug addicts and alcoholics who work for free) there told me literally I had to pay $65.00 a week to sleep there so I had to. The next day, or two a black gentleman who was over the Disciplies and was a paid salary Salvation Army employee walked up to me and said, "I heard your sleeping here for free and I DON'T like that!!" I responded, "That's funny because I have the receipt where I paid to sleep here". He became even more angry and replied, "I'll see about that and if you're lying, you're out on the streets!" turned and walked a few steps away then turned around saying "White boy!" and walked away. Needless to say, i rightfully will NEVER buy anything from Salvation Army ever again much less donate a single penny to the organization as well.
