As I recall, back then, the interviews were short, 20-30 second clips (this was before KZbin) that you could just download in your browser. Like, it would have the question written out, and then "Lammy_Responce1.mov" or whatever the files were called, in whatever format was popular at the time. Like the laptop answer did _not_ lead in to the commercial segment, it just ended. Every single kilobyte in bandwidth counted in those days, and these videos were seriously tiny and optimized. I had them all saved, but then lost them all in a computer crash... :( You see, "colon parenthesis" is what we used to type, because no emojis existed at the time. 🤘🎸👩🎤🤘

There was a surprising amount of stuff made for Lammy. For some reason, there's an insane amount of Lammy merchandise. Not only do you have normal stuff like plushies, keychains, clothing, toys. . It always amazed me that out of the three main characters of this game, the voice actress that went on to be on Broadway (Spamalot, I think) didn't get to do any singing in this franchise. As for this game, that was a lot of great Joe Chin stuff that would otherwise have been lost to time had this game not been preserved. He's the unsung comic relief of this franchise, and he'd only be relegated to a couple scenes here and there in the Parappa game trilogy without these. You have our undying thanks.

A couple of things I want to mention: Joe Chin has a lot of “NOW” references, which is pretty much why it’s called “Um Jammer Lammy NOW!” Joe Chin also has a “Continue?” Screen counting down, but once he reaches 2, he says “2 1/2” and “2 1/3”, even though they come after 2, but the joke still fits. The fact that Lammy has her own interview, and that she revealed she: -May have trouble talking to people or looking at them in the eye -Almost often wakes up late -Gets shy often, even in a way she was talking to the camera I have a feeling that people (especially with autism) relate. I wouldn’t say this means she definitely HAS autism, because just because she has symptoms doesn’t mean she has it, but it’s easy to sympathize with her Stages 1, 2, 3: Easy Stages 2, 4, 5: Normal Stages 5, 6, 7: Hard This Japan exclusive arcade mostly also has English subtitles, and American references (Island instead of Hell), which could have been a hit in America (United States, Canada, Bermuda). The tutorial also has the Instrumental to Stage 1, so theoretically, this version may also have the Good rank Instrumentals. And of course, we can’t forget Parappa Stage 1!
