Hello, usually I give a thumb down to everyone who never heard about Dimash, who has been the best vocalist on this planet for more than five years now. It's really unforgivable. I understand the reasons, but none of them make any sense. Yesterday someone replied to me, saying that he was busy reacting to BTS and Swift... I didn't even had a chance to reply to that - hundreds of others did that for me. They're not bad singers, but all of them are so far below this Godsend, and frankly, no one is close. Maybe in a century or so God will create someone again; for now, we all should be grateful to God for allowing us to live long enough to hear this VOICE. You have a long way to go; listen to every song Dimash ever sang, be patient. He'll awaze you when you'll think that there is nothing else left to awaze you. And at the same time, you will collect thousands of likes and subscribers: there are fan clubs of Dimash in some 120 countries, and they are all very active on KZbin. Good luck.

And that performance was more than 6 years ago. You won't believe what he can do with his voice these days! He trains his voice for at least 3 hours a day and does sports to have the necessary lung volume and stamina. I'd recommend Sinful Passion, Stranger and Love is like a dream as well as Ikanaide if you're interested in more Dimash.

This was the first time Dimash was away from home ( Kazakhstan ) for the 1st time. No Chinese or English , even though he can sing in 15 different languages. He was INVITED to take part, because of his reputation and success in his own country, Russia and others around him. It was expected that he might only appear twice in the competition. But in fact he went thru right to the last. He came 2nd, because at that time the competition rules did not allow foreigners to win. They changed that year the following year. The win for Dimash is that the the Chinese people loved him as a person (his humbleness, generosity etc) as well ofcourse appreciating his incredible talent. Here he is 22, he will be 29 in may. So as u go thru his work u will witness his voice maturing, with still a bit maturing go. The Chinese people brought him to the attention of the world , thus now and for some years, he holds his own concerts all over the world, with his Dears (fans) travelling to his concerts as many times as they can. It's amazing, he sings a lot in his own language- kazac, but many others too, and the audiences can sing along with him, as they go to the trouble of learning them. Extraordinary!!! The best comment from a Dear under the first video: „If you are having a bad day, remember, someone had to sing after him.“ 🤣 That one moment when a vblogger first hear Dimash and is instantly mesmerized by it... priceless and beautiful to watch. I love it! This song is one of the most difficult songs to sing and made Dimash a mega-star overnight in 2017 (The Singer). The song comes from the famous Canadian-French rock opera 'Starmania' (1978) and is known in the English-speaking world as Tycoon (1995). Music: Michel Berger and Luc Plamondon (French original text). The English adaptation is by Tim Rice. That's how it all started: In 2017 Dimash received a wildcard for the “The Singer” competition in China. He was the youngest participant ever (22 years old). Young man from Kazakhstan, singing a French song at a Chinese competition. This was the first time the Chinese audience of the best singers of their country have heard Dimash and they were shook. This performance rocketed him to stardom. America is just discovering him though many of us have followed him since this performance was added to youtube. The way I found to celebrate the majesty of Dimash's talent was to have written the following about him: If I were to rule the world, I would immediately add, to the universal declaration of human rights, another article (they would become 31) whose wording would next "All human beings have the right, at least once in their lives, to hear Dimash sing". I am a Professor and I believe that I have a special profession that allows me to transform the human heart and consequently the human society. I work with young people and young people need to have good references. I had been looking for someone for a long time, of whom I could speak to the young people I work with, as a good reference. That person should be young, a super talent, a super mega star in the art world and above all, because he is the most important, a good human person. I searched and never found anyone with these characteristics. Until, finally, I found this person and that person is Dimash. I had the opportunity to say this to Dimash, personally, when I was with him in Latvia where I went, coming from Portugal (there are 8000 km round trip), on the 7th of March 2020. @@kaakca HI my friend!!...I have many reasons to recommend this particular performance of S.O.S....When I start to spread the word, contacting reactors, I usually recommended the Slavic Bazaar version, because is one of my favorites, but I realized that many reactors believed that Dimash was using autotune or wasn't singing live...Other reason is because in Belarus and Russia, the public isn't like the occidental public...They don't use to applause very much after the singer finished...In The 2021 S.O.S version from the Digital Show, the public doesn't exist because it was during the Covid times....So I decided to use recommend the 2017 version from China, because is my other favorite, Dimash was singing Live without any doubt and the most important, there were many people watching in the scenario and the most important: The Singer S.O.S. 2017 was the before and after in the Dimash's life as a singer....I know it was a lot of time ago, but all my "Dear" friends are out there to recommend the newest amazing performances of Dimash...A big hug my friend!!

Thank you for discovering Dimash and welcome to a beautiful world of music. I just discovered your channel and subscribed hoping to see more reactions of Dimash. Dimash is a 28-years old singer from Kazakhstan and believe me, you’ve seen nothing at all. In my opinion you have discovered the best singer in the world. He has perfect pitch and currently has a vocal range of 7,7 octaves (vocal fry C1 (B0) - whistle D8 off the piano). That means he hits notes in almost 8 octaves and sings consistently in 6 octaves. Not in one song (mostly😅). At least what he has shown us so far. He plays several instruments like piano, dombra (a kazach instrument), drums, marimba and more. He has classical as well as contemporary vocal training and sings in different genres from opera to pop, jazz, Kazakh folk, ballads and he even raps a bit. And often he skillfully mixes several genres in one song. And meanwhile in more than 10 languages. The latest songs (from Tokyo Jazz Festival in November 2021) are Ikanaide in Japanese and at his concert in Almaty on September 23, 2022 he sang a new song in Spanish (about 7 languages in one concert!). He sings no mainstream and is a completely independent artist. He has his own company „DimashAli Creative Center“ and is managed by his father Kanat. Maybe that’s the reason you never heard of him yet. He doesn’t sell his soul to a music label. He doesn’t want to be dictated by money when he has to sing what, when, where and how. Many of my favorite songs are in his native tongue. He is a nice, respectful and humble person. He respects people regardless of their original, religion or profession. He truly loves his homeland Kazakhstan and his people with all his heart and always shows it with pride in many of his songs, concerts and interviews. During his concerts in Dubai, Düsseldorf and Prague in 2022, before he performed his song War And Peace, he told the audience he loves all people in every country. And there are no bad nations (only bad leaders). And I absolutely believe this. His concert in September 23, 2022 was in his hometown Almaty, it was so amazing and it lasts almost 4 hours. Believe it or not but he really gets better and better. Every time you think you know him and his art, you realize your so wrong. He's very spiritual and thankful for the gift God has given him. But he also works very hard to improve his vocal skills. He said in an interview he trains every day at least 3 hours and he swims under water very often to increase his lung capacity. He's a singer you can't put in any box. He sings almost every genre there is. Every time you watch a video, expect the unexpected. Even the covers he sings he makes his own and brings elements into the song that you would never expect. Don't be surprised if you get suggestions for songs you may have already seen. Dimash has different versions of many of the same songs. They are all worth seeing. Not only is he perfect at singing and performing, he's also an incredibly good actor. Check out his music videos. They are amazing. You think I’m exaggerating? No, I don’t think so😄. SOS is a song in the rock-opera „Starmania“ from 1978. The first who presented this song was the French singer and songwriter Daniel Balavione. SOS was the first performance of the China competition (in 2017) and was his first appearance in this show. The Singer is a show in China where only established singers are invited to perform. All the singers invited to this show are already well-known artists in China who have already won awards. Dimash was invited as the first foreigner as a wild card and the youngest in the history of this show. They became aware of him because he had already won some important competitions in Kazakhstan and Belarus, among others. He was still completely unknown in China. What you watched was the results of a five year old child starting his vocal training. He continues to this day. He always wanted to be where he is today. Currently he has a 7+ Octaves voice… any of us Dears have heard him hit notes not on a full-size piano. My suggestion for you to react to next Dimash song would be Sinful Passion with English subtitles. Because you will hear how he mixes genres within his songs along with local folk vocals. Also at the end of his performance,you will see a man in a white shirt stand up. & applaud. This man is Igor Krutoy a famous writer of music, producer ect. This was his first time hearing Dimash, Igor Krutoy at that moment decided to come out of retirement to work with Dimash. In future videos you will see him playing the piano for Dimash during live performances. Also you might enjoy looking Igor Krutoy up interesting person. Many pep will have you jumping forward to his lasted newest work. But, I suggest you take this step so you will understand videos you will get to in other reactions. From the multiple languages in the comments you know he is a world artist. He is more an artist than singer because he is a creator. With the help of his ranges, techniques, genres, styles and multiple vocal colours combination, he creates different landscapes to the audience everytime he sings. And it was such a vivid visualisation too, each song’s different one from another. From the lush of green valleys to an ancient China to snowy solitude mountain to dark empty space to the gate of heaven and so on. Dears would understand those references to which songs specifically 😅but I let you find out.
