2017 Audi S4 Avant (354hp) - DRIVE & SOUND (60FPS)

Today I can present to you the full Drive & Sound with the all-new 2016 / 2017 Audi S4 (B9) Avant powered by an entirely new 3.0 V6 Single-Turbo delivering 354 hp and 500 Nm of torque. The sound is pretty much what you expect from a car like this, sporty and a deep tone, but very understaded at the same time making it a good company car instead of an A6 BiTurbo TDI. As we were two people on board and acceleration to 200 km/h stays around 16-17 this is noticeably faster than the predecessor. Especially the punch in the higher rpms is what distinguishes this great V6 Turbo from the former supercharged one. Overall the car feels great with its agile handling (Quattro Sport differential) and the super-smooth shifting 8-speed transmission. I got the "old" B8 FL S4 with V6 supercharger. Sounds better in my case (stock). But I love the new look, especially the interior.

Yeah it's sound better than the b9 even back in 2017 they have a soft limiter in an s4 but they didn't in the rs4 which is quite weird but later on at 2020 they have a soft limiter quite annoying really but you know modern regulation thing which is useless

@@jacksonhuang2009 I don't know about soft limiter, why do you even need to raise the rpm that high when in neutral? Never did that, never will do that. Only floored the pedal while standing when I did a race start.

Honestly, the S4 B9 are quite rare sights on the road. I live in the region of Nürnberg (nuremberg), and I've seen only 2-3 S4's and one RS4. Also the normal A4's of that year are rare sights for a "standard" A4. The B8 is seen everywhere in every shape and form, the F30 3series is seen at every corner, but a A4/S4? Veeery rare around my region.

True. Ive seen more RS4 B9 than S4 B9 and A4 is pretty rare aswell, due to its high price i think. And if there is an A4 around, most time its only a 2 litre engine, not 3.0 TDI.

@@Ben-rr2yo Now after a few years have passed, the A4's are still rare. I've seen a few more S4's. I Really like the S4, the 3.0TDI is sadly due to massive problems with the camshafts not an option anymore. Sadly. And the Interior features buttons, dials and a good, nice optic.

Ich habe einen 2018er S4 Avant B9 TFSI und die sind wirklich echt selten. Kenne nur einen weiteren in meiner Region. Auf dem Audi Treffen habe ich dieses Jahr auch nur 2 weitere S4 Avant B9 TFSI und einen S4 Avant B9 Facelift TDI gesehen. Würde sagen es liegt daran, dass eher zum RS4 gegriffen wurde/wird, wenn das Gewisse „Kleingeld“ übrig war/ist. Ein A4 B9 Avant ist auch nicht mehr gerade so günstig. Da greifen die Leute z.B. lieber zum Octavia RS Combi. So einen hatte ich vorher und die sieht man täglich.🫢

Tolles Auto! Ich habe den S4 B9 als Limousine (TFSI) und bin super zufrieden! Ich würde den Wagen als Allrounder bezeichnen. Viel Platz, demnach gut für die Langstrecke. Der Verbrauch ist auf der Autobahn bei humaner Fahrweise echt in Ordnung und wenn es mal drauf ankommt, dann haste noch richtig "Bums" unter der Haube, mit sehr gut abgestimmten Sound! Würde mich immer wieder für den Wagen entscheiden. Lg aus WF
