I almost shed a tear when I saw wind weakness in this Moc, I could finally use my Blade after who knows how long :') (He was still pretty useful to me in Pure fiction but I missed using him in Moc) It is quite shocking to see the difference in damage bewteen Jingliu and Boothill in this Moc tho, I ended up zero cycling second side of Moc12 with Boothill without even really trying (Boothill is extra good against Aventurine too because you litteraly skip all of Aventurine's mechanics lol)

The real hardcarries of any account are the Harmony units, if you pick up the right ones you can literally play any 5* DPS and full star. He waited to use the ult in order to action advance the character after they took their turns. He's using the DDD lc. Watch what happens after he uses the ult a few seconds later. Using it before they had taken their turn wouldn't make tht possible. You obviously need high speed stat to make it possible.

Running Jingliu without Bronya is a massive nerf, but its much worse than normal against Aventurine since you really need to do burst damage quickly in-between his gambles, and her long down-time + wasting skills on the gamble just makes this really slow without E1 and Bronya.

@@AJLaz000 Powercreep literally doesn't exist outside of limited eidolons because dps multipliers are standardized through various thresholds. This puts more weight on mechanics and composition instead, which is perfect. It also lets the devs design the floor encounters and rotation buffs like a puzzle for players to pit their account against. I know all this because I use the minimum investment necessary on all my units, and they all clear in roughly the same amount of cycles/actions. My break sampo and Yunli cleared on the same amount of time today based on their affinity against the stage, my himeko has cleared faster than my acheron and seele before, it's all about mechanics. Like Blade, JL still needs more dedicated supports to come out, Aventurine himself is just a somewhat bad matchup. A character focused on breaking or ultimate damage is the kind of fight you're looking to pick.

That being said, I am srsly questioning the legitimacy of the statement of "easy af" with regardls to this moc...in what galaxy exactly?...if pokke can't clear in around 5-6 cycles easily (keyword) with his lvl of investment then how the fk are yall saying this is easy?...beatable? Absolutely. But, easy? Yall high as a mf kite if u think that. And it doesn't matter if u think this isn't either characters' bis team...the high vertical AND horizontal investment pokke has offsets that completely as long as he uses functional teams...which he did. If people can't tell something is wrong with aventurine as a boss in terms of both stats AND mechanics relative to the rest of the cast of bosses then we're kinda doomed at that point. At least blade was great for most people on 1st half (it's the easier half tbf, but still) and wouldn't ya guess, all it took is one floor on element with moderately aggressive enemies and he's performed perfectly well...almost like he wasn't in fact "ass" as most claim.

It was easy until floor 12, there's a lot of disruption there and Aventurine can be brutal. There's nothing wrong with his fight though, our support cast is just terrible at rolling dice which makes the second phase awkward as hell. He can also hide from this one turbulence behind the dice which is annoying, but a boss that gives you ult "for free" is decently forgiving on it's own.

@ch1dd well, I was referring to moc12 ofc, I think any established account should have no problem until 12 (maybe 11), sry for not making it clear in that regard. I love the game (and Aventurine as a character) but NO ONE wants another version of Aventurine to be added to the game, so why are acting like he's a good boss design when he's not, not gameplay wise at least. Imo, Aventurine isn't terrible, but he's very cheap, and it's lame to see how they made em. its a turn based game and dmg checks are a thing for all bosses...but what all bosses don't do...is have a lame ass invulnerable phase that almost always leads to ur supports getting fked over and CCd unless if u specifically have fuxuan or huohuo (Aventurine against himself is sus but works I guess) . And then, u have to waste time cleansing them if they do in fact, get CCd, and because he's so fast, he gets right back to and ur CCd again if u didn't already die. Him giving energy to only the units that win the dice isn't forgiving at all, not compared to the b.s he has going on...u have to expend buff uptime and waste ur memory turbulence and ur dmg windows cause his ass is untargetable. I'm not complaining about the hp (he's still stupid in that regard cmon now) but u can't have em be this fast, recover this quick from break, and still have em spam that lame ass mechanic throughout most of phase 2. I get that he's beatable, I've beaten him everytime...but the fact is, he is waaaay too far ahead of the rest in all avenues and requires way more investment AND rng...why is he such an outlier? And why do they insist on bringing him back with the same turbulence, lol? I guess to make u feel worse 🤷‍♂️. Difficulty is great, and I'm glad that proper builds and comps are now required to beat the highest lvl content in the game, but Aventurine is simply put, cheap. Cool concept, whack execution.

Don't worry about it, it's about investment, buff rotation and units available. Just don't believe the powercreep narrative or you'll think you got scammed when the newest characters still have balanced performances.

Even if you apply weakness type to enemies, they still have a certain amount of resistances to those elements. While i think those teams can still steamroll through despite that, it might still influence results for lower investment teams

I took 1 cycle with Acheron and 0 cycle with Firefly, I used E2S1 Acheron with E0S0 Sparkle,E0 Aventurine(trend lightcone) and E6 Pela and E0S1 Firefly with E0S0 Ruan Mei, HMC and E6 Gallagher....

​​@@ch1ddbecause FF and Acheron set the powercreep bar so high, like every single carry that released after them is worse and less valuable than them, FF and Acheron literally have waaay too ridiculously huge numbers and can basically do everything. So obviously there's no need to worry about the powercreep when you have the most op dpses in the game that powercrept everything else
