HP based buff is pretty clear and Blade could be a really good subdps for JL if his FU is triggered more given JL triggers it. would be hard for him to climb ranks though as a main dps though when FUA is insane and super break will get more buffs. Also she's like anti-synergetic with most supports in the game, she necessitates timing buffs during her damage window but she also takes so many turns that most buffs run out before she gets to use her all her syzygy stacks, not even mentioning the fact every buff type besides dmg percent is incredibly saturated

For the people that didn't get the Smash analogy, Marth and Lucina share virtually the same kit. Marth has a higher damage ceiling because he has a mechanic that deals more damage if you hit the tip of his sword -iirc-, meanwhile Lucina trades the non-tip damage for consistent numbers that are overall higher than Marth normal hits, but lower than his tips. Lucina is arguably a better character just for her consistency, because on an equal skill match Marth is not gonna hit enough tips to overthrow the damage output of Lucina. That's what I remember from Smash, correct me if I'm wrong pls.

What Jingliu truly lacking is (from my pov): 1) No skill DMG buffer with duration tied to the buffer turn 2) ENERGY or A way to extend Jingliu duration in her Syzgzy form 3) Action Value manipulator (other than bronya) 4) All type Pen, DEF down (Debuffer) 5) Support with buff tied to HP manipulation (So BladeLiu can be used together, because that team comp is mid compared to just using them in their own Hypercarry comp)

1. I absolutely agree. 2. Tingyun and HH alleviate the Energy problem, although the former is not her best in slot support. She also gains an extra stack of Syzygy at E6 but that's not feasible for 99.9% of players so I won't count that either. 3. Bobin. Although tbf her ult only comes around 1 time per 1-2 cycles. 4. There are plenty of ways to provide Def shred/Res-pen, actually. RM ult, E1 Bobin, Pela Skill and Ult, 4 piece Quantum. 5. Absolutely agree as well.

To make jingliu great again.. they need to buff FREEZE. What i mean about this is a support that can utilize freeze. Something like this. Skill: grants "unique buff" to all ice allies including self for 3 turns. "Unique buff" - everytime an ally deals ice damage to an enemy inflict one stack of chill, if an enemy stack reach 5 stacks. Inflict dissociation on an enemy removing all chill buffs. Dissociation debuff - reduce huge amount of ice resistance to self and after dissociation debuff removes. If the enemy is not elite then inflict 50% of their max hp.. if elite, deals only 20% of their current hp. Chill debuff - slows the enemy by 2% for every stacks

I've been saying it since forever and peple told me I was full of it but I have heard people murmur it somewhat as of late. Sparkle, while great, is getting the short straw from hoyo because they made her the best support for a meta that Hoyo has completely neglected since her release. While Jingliu herself doesn't really need Sparkle's extra SP so much, they both have the same kind of gameplay style that Hoyo is completely ignoring. More importantly though is how we have had no endgame content that has ice weakness for so long, which is even worse t han it sounds because we also get enemies like those effing robot dinos which take extremely little damage until broken, so if yo ucan't break them with your ice dps, they massively prevent an ice dps from popping off on them. Honestly, Penacony as a whole just felt like a giant 'eff you' to ice dps characters. Like one of the only creatures weak to ice are those TV things which you WANT to let move to give you your energy back, but no, they make that one weak to ice with very llittle break gauge so that they are frozen and can't give you energy. FFS.

Or somethins like support, that "play" with team HP giving them benefits (furina analog), even if this will be a sustaine. Imagine, sustaine like furina, damaging your whole party over time, but givin for this dmg boost and even more, each time this sustaine will do dmg to your team. everyone will gain energy like they are being hit. Splap this sustaine into Jingly Blade March team, and this will be a great team. cause this will buff now only jing, but also blade, cause if he more often wll loses hp, then he will do his dmg oftenly to. And if march here will go with sifu for blade, march will be insane here too.

What also forgot about why jingliu is very strong through out 1.4-1.6 was because of a Elite boss. During her release, is also the release of Senior Staff elite boss who summons and make use of performance points which gives 50% dmg bonus per points and is incredibly huge for jingliu who lacks dmg bonus buffs. To get the performance points you just need to break/kill the summons and because it is ice weakness and the summons also that time doesn't have much hp unlike now, can easily be killed. Now that ipc elite boss only shows up on early stages of moc and never on the end stage of moc which is the baseline of the meta.

they gotta make a support for blade that also benefits other non-hp scaling dps by an enticing enough chunk for other ppl without blade to also pull for them. An example would be a support that increases the crit rate/Dmg of a unit by like .5/1 percent for every 150hp a unit has or something, so that it's a nice boost for everyone, and insane on blade. then another buff including like dmg % or turn advance with HP lifesteal or something, so everyone benefits, but blade benefits just a little more, to bring him up to speed. fearing its getting a bit late for blade to get any support though unless they make a new HP oriented dps, which would then also take him outta the spotlight anyway

Feels like a character that they released at the wrong time. She was so strong that they had to preemptively nerf her interaction with Bronya and gut her traces. She was also released before they focused on archetypes and made everyone custom relic sets. Nerfed interaction with her best support Bronya, useless major trace nodes like the 10% advance on normal skill (literally does nothing), no characters released that interact with her health drain mechanic besides blade (blade does nothing for her), and didn’t get a broken custom relic set like Acheron/Firefly/etc Jinglius my favorite unit so it just sucks to see all the custom supports and relics all the other favorite characters get. They release 15 FuA characters but Jingliu can even get one character made for her

She just doesn’t have any future proofness to her kit like Kafka or Topaz. They facilitate their archetype in a way where they can only get better over time with new partners. Jingliu sadly just doesn’t have much going for her besides the fact that her multiplyers were nuts at her release and everything was ice weak. If anyone played dragon ball dokkan battle (f2p my whole time on that game since it released) for outdated units they eventually do extreme z awakenenings an event that buffs/improves their outdated kits so even if you did not pull for example acheron at least arlan is getting a massive boost and buff to his kits which allowd for more flexible and good team comps since power crept units now is better than before

Unit idea to buff jugliu and blade, a unit that allows to have a certain amout of the hp drained be dealt as additionnal damage when the characters performs an action that drains hp, and all the additionnal stuff like advance forward and dmg buffs that last for 3 turns

No offense, but that's just such a bad idea. Every character benefits from every support we have rn no matter how miniscule, like even blade benefits from Robin's attack buff, even if it is barely an increase. Super specific archetype buffs should only be additional like Robin's fua crit damage buff. The unit you suggested sounds like having the hp drain mechanic would be a pretty large part of her kit, which would mean she would only be usable and a earth pull for like 2 units teams

Another way, if this certain someone is this unit (100% is since there is no other harmony coming out in a long while apparently), is ult overflow. Know how Argenti or Yunli got double ult? Now imagine that for every unit whose ult is ER based. Meaning, Jingliu can pretty much always be in her special state with this gimmick. Not only that but the buffs (at least cone's) are multiple turn based and they have stackable dmg buff. Making it a Bronya that actually properly works with Jingliu's kit. However, we shall see. Don't want for this unit to end up being another Jiaoqiu case in which pre-beta kit looked way too good to be true, and judging by how Jiaoqiu in beta became/went, it seems it was too good to be true. Still, this unit to side, new relic set is releasing in 2.7 that is her 100% BiS.
