my mom has cancer they can't cure it anymore :( in a few weeks / in a month she will die and my mom and i both want this song played on her funeral. so now everytime i hear this song it makes me so sad cause this is the song will be played at her funeral. i'm so gonna miss you mommy. edit : i want to thank everyone for all the love and support. on May 1st 2015 she lost the battle from cancer. The moment we heard that the doctors couldn't do anything for her anymore we made sure that she came home for her final days. My dad and i took care of her till she was ready to go. my dad picked up his life and married with my stepmom (unfortunately she passed away 1 year afte they met). And i picked up my life too. this song still brings a lot of emotions with it. but it really helped me through it all. for all the people that read this... don't take your family for granted. you may think your mom or dad is being annoying when they are so protectve over you. but they do it because they love you. and when you end up in a situation like my mom and i ended up in then you will miss everything your mom or dad did for you. love them now you still can and show them your graditude and love. because of them you are on this earth. and because of them you have become the person you are today.

This song is "soul" deep, this is my Mom, sweet spirit, tender soul, just beautiful to the core. The kind of love in a person you strive to achieve with in yourself. When I need to feel her close to me I play this song. Several years before she passed in February 2017 I sent her this song. She loved it. I sang it to her. We shared the exactly feelings, daughter to mother and mother to daughter. She really struggled the last couple of years. I live an hour away and work full time but always made time to go see her, wash her hair, massage her feet, paint her nails, hold her hand, love her .....just by sitting there. This song just grips my deep soul when I hear it and draws me into her. I needed it at first after losing her but it seems I need it more every day to feel her by me and in me. She had a strong desire that someone special would come into my life and be there for me. For years, she prayed and believe that special guy would come in to my world and sweep me off my feet. She actually got to watch her prayers come true. After a very long lonely wait, at the age of 47 we met, just 16 months before she took her last breath. The part in this song about "swimming through the stars when I see her" ...this was us when we seen each other and this was her when they met. She knew immediately and told me so. He was the one she had spent day and night praying for. It was like nothing else mattered just me reaching that true breath of love made it so well with in her. I just wanted them to be together longer, know each other more and make memories of all 3 of us. The glitter sparks in her eyes when we were with her is the same feeling I get when I hear "swimming through the stars when I see her" and makes me tingle throughout my insides. There is nothing more special then watching your mom smile from her heart outward. She was so pleased, so proud. This was OUR song and now I share it with the 2 most important people to ever reach the deepest part of my being "every time I see her, every time I see him " . This song, this song...gets me every time. Nothing else matters.......

After 2 years I gained courage and come back to this music...this is my music. I remember listening to this song when I was 11 every day, I suffered from toxic parents that abused me mentally to the point that I had tougths of killing myself and would go to bed every single day crying from 11 to 14 years old, a 11 year old should NEVER see suicide has an option, when I was 6 if I laughed to much people would beat me and yell at me in 1 grade they called me fat all type of names, I had toxic friends that would told me that my ex didn't like, that I was fat and ugly and should shut up because I was annoying, that lead me to shut up and now I have problems talking and socializing, my ex told me that my best friend was só pretty and he had a thing for her while dating me, and talked to her trough sms, I stayed with him because I was afraid of being alone, being with him after all the shit he made was a visualizing of my mom staying with my dad after he called her all bad names and screamed at her, I was taught that toxic behaviors were normal and if I break a friendship or relationship I would be alone forever, now I'm 17, shit still going on but I am just going trough it, I tried to kill myself so many times but God doesn't want me to go home, and the tough is still here, I feel so alone, all my life I only met abusive people. While I played these song during these times I would under the cover allow myself to cry so much and pray so hard to God for a ligth something to keep going... Still trying to find it and honestly I don't know If I will make it to the end of this year, I just wanted to talk and this song comment section was my place because it was where I was years ago.. With the kind of mentor-like wisdom he speaked, a wisdom not weighed down by old age, but looking back at the past with Love. And then this song started playing. Just as we were silently looking together at the break of Dawn, in the woods, somewhere in northern Sweden. I liked that dream.

My boyfriend his grandfather died on the 13th of july and on the 17th we had his cremation. And this was the song that was played at his cremation. I will always remember that I sat on a bench next to my boyfriend in the crematorium, in front of me was the coffin with red roses on it. And the whole wall was a window, with a view of a lake with trees and a meadow. And I just cried the whole time. everytime I hear this song or think about this song I cry. I didn't know his granfather very good but he seemed like such a great person. I really wanted to get to know him better. But now it's too late and I'm really sad about it. :(
