It goes to show how broken the level design of floor 10 is on master mode, there’s no way the designers intended it to be as difficult as it is. Master mode isn’t harder either, everything just takes longer

i watched your first video just to get passed that 10th floor (which i cant thank you enough for) and i managed to beat the whole trial before you put this video out. i came to watch this just to see if your strategy was any similar to mine (definitely wasn't). and for the most part im really impressed. \/ Edit: I do have to say though, in Room 12 ('Target Practice') You can use cryonis to create three barriers so a few of the guardian scouts cant see you. I specifically put down all three next to each other diagonally where only the left guardian could see me behind cover so that i could work on him first and have a safe cover area to finish off the rest. The same strategy also works for room 14 for covering behind the two shooting guardians in the back. you place the cryonis blocks on each corner of the water to cover from their vision so they cant see you

Omg floor 10 was a joke!! I tried this strategy and got the one on the right to like half damage before accidentally alerting the other one and surprisingly I was able to kill the one on the right and then waited for the other one to lay back down and I sneak attacked him and finally beat level 10 after like 20 tries lol

Yeah, it helps to watch out for water on the floor, allowing you to create ice blocks. For example, there are puddles in the room with the skeleton horses, providing something to jump off for the slo-mo targetting. 👍

I tried his strategy, sneak strike chaining ... seriously, the trials are bad enough as is, but floor 10 should have been redesigned for Master Mode, not just 'hurr durr, enemy level up silver lizalfos hurr durr'. And if it's just one Lizalfos staying black. Or just let one save in the pause room with the chests, ffs.

Not sure if anyone has posted this, but of you cook up 5 Endure Carrots it will give you two yellow stamina wheels. Might be useful for anyone who finds they are going through their stamina too fast or is attempting the Master Trials without a full three-tiered Stamina wheel.

Love that your vid is straight to the point and your inclusion of time markers in the description! :) Simple and efficient. So tired of "guides" that are more like vlogs. Thanks! I came browsing after using half my weapons on floor 13... Knew there had to be a better way. (Luckily floor 14 drops a lot of loot and I got my clear anyway.) Deeply satisfying watching those guardians get smashed against the walls, even if I wasn't the one to do it, lol. If and when I do it on my Normal Mode file, I'll be relishing the payback. XD As an aside re floor 14: I used a weak spear just push the middle guardians into the water while their shields were still up with just a few basic thrusts, zero fuss. :)

I finally beat the beginning trials yesterday after watching your video and failing at floor 10 so many times. After thinking about it, I used the iron sledgehammer on the stone Talus instead of the 27 dmg spiked boko bat and saved that for the Lizalfos. That did the trick. Watched your video for the middle trials three times now to try and do it this afternoon. Looks so much easier than the beginning trials.

This one didn't feel nearly as hard as the Beginning, and it took me only a handful of tries, but on my second to last try (before I finally beat it) I lost on the final floor, so I was feeling juuuuust a tad salty. 0:53 Whoa....yeah, Floor 10 of the beginner trials is considered the most difficult part of the entire Trial of the Sword in Master Mode. If not the entire game. I found that using Stasis+ then a headshot on the blue one immediately, then sneaking up and sneakstrike chaining the other two individually was what got me through it. And pretty painlessly too. FINALLY completed it. I suggest those having trouble watch a video on and practice chaining sneak-strikes. Is a MUST in master mode, especially when near a solo enemy that isn't a Lynel or wizrobe, etc. Watching this so I know how to handle the middle trials, and then the final trials.

As I'm sure others have said, floor 10 was and still is an absolute nightmare on Master Mode (which is, for an experienced gamer, the best way to play BotW). I used the general strategy introduced in that video to survive the middle and final trials. As such, it's refreshing to watch this after having already completing it without an explicit guide. The final trials arent to difficult, I did it first try actually, and without a video. I don't know if you still need this but for the first level in the ice area is your fire rod. Go the taluses hit them with their weak element type. And for fire lizalfols use ice weapons. Shoot enemies in the head to knock them off into lava, set your shelia sensor to ancient arrows. For the 2 golden enemies and the silver moblin use an achient arrow to the head, save your achient arrows otherwise until the last round, and at the beginning headshots in the air kill them instantly

Give this man a gold star! Quizzle u are beyond awesome, thanks for the walkthrough, your gampleay was flawless!! It helped me a lot. For the last room (floor 16) that spam trick you showed us by switching back and fourth with the fire rod while fighting the final guardian, i spammed both the fire rod and lighting rod in rotation which stunned it and did massive damage, thats when i would run up on it with a powerful melee weapon and finished it. Thought u mite want to try that on another playthrough. The middle trials was lots of fun and not so hard, i enjoyed it better than the beginning trials, the begining trials was a lot harder than the middle trial. Now its on to the final trials.

Just beat the second trial. I had to retry 3 times because obese trying to do a no hit run, but I realized its okay to be hit every once in a while. That's why I decided to calm down, and be patient. Man it was worth it.

Flying and sniping faces is my favourite way to deal with enemies. I find Hi/Stalnoxes much easier to kill when there's a high ledge to jump off and bullet time into

Honestly tho, the beginner trial vid for Floor 10 could have been a whole lot more helpful.... The key to sneakstriking these guys is to crouch walk VERY slowly, but realize that their peripheral vision is REALLY good, so you have to approach it from DIRECTLY behind it's back, and start as far back/close to the middle as humanly possible when you sneak behind it to make your approach. Then slowly approach & strike w your strongest weapon. BUT HOLD ON!!! For those who know how to chain sneakstrikes by walking to the opposite side of the enemy, do so SLOWLY 7 CAREFULLY! Do not touch or bump the Lizalfos when walking behind him while it's down or else you will push it right into the water! You have to walk behind it without touching it! That is key! Then it will stay where it is & you can repeat the Sneakstrike from behind. This is the key to doing this properly, and could have been represented in the video but wasn't. Floor 10 in that previous video was pretty much the worst case scenario, but was a good example of what to do if things go awry. Still, I suppose it could have been worse. Both Lizalfos could have been aggro'd at the same time. That is actually the worst case scenario. However, there is an easy solution to this. Simply swim either to the left or right side raised platforms & climb to the top of it, duck down & wait. They will lose sight of you & will go back to their original perched positions, at which time you can try to sneak up on them once again, basically a reset. Then just swim back around to where you started the room at and try sneaking back up on them again.
