I am from Hobert street as well. Daughter if Sadru Alibhai Premji. Was Nurali Nazarali Hassam there at the time if your visit? He lived in Masaka until he passed away 2020. He remembered who lived where. Bless him

One of the person travelling with us knew the family, He knew Nurely quite well, he was a mukhi and looking after Masaka Jamatkhana, The friend met him in 2002 when he went to Masaka. He met him at Coffee shop below patidar samaj. We did not see him in 2019 when we went there. His father’s shop’s name was Masaka Ration store, he was a close friend of Sadru of Tipsy restaurant in Masaka.

IDD AMIN saved Uganda from an Indian takeover. They always made sure their neighbours were Indian, employees were Indian [in high positions], they sold their houses to Indians and always socialized with Indians. They were literally forming a little India inside Uganda. AND BOY... WERE THEY RACIST. They even disallowed their children from associating with black Ugandans.
