Shout Out to Tricky, I always said that song Shakedown by Usher & Mary was a banger!!! Radio missed a big one with that song.

Thank you Tricky Stewart.. at 23:24 thats what its about.. being a TRAILBLAZER! Making an impact instead of sounding like everyone else. But of course you have to have the natural creativity or skillset to be able to translate something fresh to where the masses will get it. "Its a thin line between being crazy and a genius" The-Dream

Damn, you've really got something special here,as someone who loves to write songs you ask all the questions a music geek wants answers to. The Damon Thomas eps were amazing as well. Keep up the great work

Anybody else take about 3 to 4 hours to get through each interview? I be pausing to google and read up on everybody they talking about and playback every song reference mentioned lol

i appreciate yall trying to have a real ass conversation, not so much on an interview style but more free flowing but ya gotta let the guest finish his thoughts, switching subjects abrutly when there's follow ups to be asked (i know yall probably on a time crunch lol i aint greedy) but fr though, i usually don't mind tamara at all but im 20 minutes in and i'm getting heated lol appreciate yall for doing this!!! just a note. but all love. shout out to karyn white she gave us bangers, new jack swing truly the epitome of modern music you can quote me on that, between new jack swing and gold darkchild years, that's when the digital harnessed the organic best, when you listening to the GUY album, teddy riley playin the whole 4 minutes of each instrument, aint no programmed, its played. lively. but electronic! and hip hop. that's what we like

Female host needs to let people talk. We want game and sometimes that doesn’t need to be narrated. Let them talk.

Love the show so far but Tamara has to slow down and let the interviewees get their full thoughts off. I say that with all due respect

She is very rigid and ready to move on too fast. She's got to get comfortable with the flow of convo and let her questions guide her vs direct her. And at the end, she kept talking about how the co-host messed up their ending. I was like just say it and stop talking about it.

ngl i could see that yall were passionate about the "who set the tone of rnb" ect.. convo coz now the flow of the conversation is like usual, proper, slow ect... so my apologies. i still wish yall would have talked about that but yea

I love tricky Stewart, but when he said "I'm the one that picks the writer" that hurt to hear. Dude, The-Dream picks you. Credit for seeing the talent early but the talent was so enormous if Dream and tricky Stewart are the Neptunes Dream would be Pharrell and that might be an insult to his writing skill. Tricky Stewart as a producer is like Daniel Day Lewis as an actor. If you are really into drums and riffs and sound samples and build ups and break downs you'll see the genius clear as "day" ,so to speak, but to everyone else hes just a dope producer. Dream's talent is apparent as soon as he writes 2 lines. LA knew he wasn't baby face but la was still the man.
