how would you know how to align the 2 chainrings and the spider? I will buy the power2max and use it with my force 22 crankset. I figure there is not much you can do wrong with alignment? 5 screws = 5 possible ways to assemble it?

Question do You recommend Rotor cranks and Powertomax meter?! Want to upgrade my Cervelo RS full Ultegra 6700 10 speed and ad dura Ace shifter and front mech, Rotor cranks and or powermeter! What's Your uptake on that future project Sr R.

I rate them but only as I fancied an upgrade from shimano products etc, if they offer me anything above the standard I have zero idea but they look cool and 2 years + in look brand new still.

Hey, did you have any trouble removing the old spider? I can't get that lockring to budge for the life of me.

The outer ring is 180° wrong - the bolt should be underneath the crankarm -shouldnt it?
@MrRicey1559 жыл бұрын
really ? pop a video up if its wrong 👍 I've done 7000+ miles no issues to date other than not going fast enough 🙆

MrRicey155 The little bolt on the big ring should prevent the chain from falling between the crankarm and the big ring if the front derailleur is not positioned correctly

HI Martin the Q ring has so many settings I guess it could be wrong but like I said the chain has never fell off EVER and it rides nice. guess it just works :-)

My SRAM rings have one bolt to save the chain the rotors have 2
@MrRicey1559 жыл бұрын
yes ***** it has two positions so when you turn it the bolts are either side, it can't be the wrong way round the writing must be on the outside !! :-)

I'll add I've done 765 miles so far and it hasn't missed a beat, no battery issue or not connecting with my garmin 500 - money well spent (except for the neck injury stopping me riding more miles :-(

Please make sure the lock ring is torqued to 40NM - if it's tightened like at the end of the video it's insufficient. Thanks.

Yeah your right Nicolas this was more how it went together but cheers for sharing - you definitely need a VICE to tighten the lock ring in place :-)
