as per my opinion, in Madurai you can cover all place from morning to evening including Meenakshi Devi Temple and madurai sightseeing . in Rameswaram i think 2 day will good/enough including Main Temple , Sightseeing & dhanushkodi Beach (last land of India, distance from rameswaram city 12km aprox. you can easily reach by bus, auto or car ) , whatever finally Adiyogi, i mean coimbatore (distance from madurai 215km aprox, and from rameswaram 400km aprox) . and here totally 1 day is enough for only adiyogi . now you can plan according your timing .
