When i was 13 the Globetrotters came to my junior high and played the teachers to 80. Two of the teachers (in their 30s) previously played D2. We had another teacher, nicknamed “Tree” who was 6-11. He was not a basketball player, just a tall, thin white guy. Teachers won 80-67. The Globetrotters were not happy. Tree must have had zero points, 30 rebounds and 15 blocks. It was hilarious.

My uncle played against the globetrotters in the 1980s. I can’t find the game on KZbin but seeing my uncle play against a team like the globetrotters makes me proud of my family.
