Noticed that she left Mason with his shaker. That is so he would not get upset and disruptive. Thank you for this video.

4 teachers for 9 kids?!? No wonder they sit and listen so well when you have 12 kids and 2 teachers at this age it’s difficult to get them to sit and listen for more than 2 minutes.

Exactly! I wish that the center I worked at had this much coverage? 1:10 isn't always going to work, especially when you have challenging children.

It makes a difference in a classroom when you have more one teacher because the class run smoothly you have helped it's hard for the Lead Teacher to do everything

Hi there, this is Ms Cat. This circle time was for a class project and my teacher was grading the creativity of the circle time. Usually with 9-12 ESE kids we have 3 teachers. But I got extra help yo complete the task. I totally understand that this is a perfect scenario but trust me when I say it wasnt my every day. Thanks for your input

I loved the bag and the hands on part of this circle. But then I noticed there is a huge TV screen being shown?!? APA recommends NO screen time 2 and under. We know that really isn't realistic in today's world but toddlers get enough of that at home. It shouldn't be done in the classroom at this age. Notice how all the kid are staring at the screen and not at the teacher.

@bonwright78 Hi there, I must admit that is a very challenging task. Are they all typical or do they have disabilities as well? I would definitely say routine is everything! Have the same routine schedule that you follow DAILY so they know what to expect after each activity in the schedule.... I have visuals and signs so they have visual suppirt.... Music is EVERYTHING! Use it to clean up, line up, circle time (without screen on), during naptime, everything.... If the students are mature enough, let them be your helpers. It makes life easier for you and it gives them responsibilities in the class enoucouraging them to make smart choices.... And also use INCENTIVES! That can be their favorite toy or food (not candy). Use terms like 'first sit, then animal cracker' so they learn to comply before they are rewarded. Etc. Does this help?
