lost generation is much worse then you think not only they were affected by war but due to world crises they would meet same fate in every country. they were also forced to finght war. even India can't remain untouched by world wars due to british colonial government. but ppl in small wars can leave their country and countries are also supported by their allies.

Sir is overgeneralising it. Plus he is giving it superpecial theme. It has no conncetion with the idea that Englanders think they are the best and will be the best. It is an irrelevant idea. You will not find a sign of this in the whole novel.
