This is what people are saying when they say Netta doesn't understand the difference between being a viral social media presence and an actual celebrity. Cause he still seems to think that BET ratings was because of them. First people didn't view the awards for them. People can be checking for them at the awards while still viewing the awards for the actual awards at the same time. They aren't the sole reason for the ratings. Also and more importantly, the red carpet is a SMALL portion of the awards and wasn't a part of the actual televised awards portion. Once the red carpet is over or after it was evident they weren't on the red carpet the views would have went down. But it didn't. Because people viewed for USHER not them. This is why people say Netta is delusional cause he really thinks an entire networks ratings was about then being at the red carpet. Like do you really know how many people go viral in a year. They are a small portion of social media for the year. If they were that big they would have gotten a personal invite to the awards. Like the climbing through your windows go who actually performed a song that he didn't even write or come up with.
