However, staying on topic, the hairstylist stated that she never spoke directly to Netta. She only spoke with Carlos the Mgr. She said to build her portfolio, she took on free jobs for Netta and Carlos made it seem like they didn't have the money but then wanted to be paid AFTER Netta told the people on her live that she wasn't broke. A Contract with the Manager: If the makeup artist's contract is with the manager (and not directly with the talent), the manager is responsible for the payment. The manager would be at fault for failing to pay according to the terms of their agreement with the makeup artist. Agency Relationship: If the manager is acting as an agent on behalf of the talent and has the authority to enter into contracts and make payments, the terms of the agency agreement will determine responsibility. Typically, the principal (talent) is ultimately liable for the obligations entered into by their agent (manager). However, if the manager breaches their duty or fails to fulfill their responsibilities, the manager could be at fault and may be liable for any damages resulting from the breach. But remember, there was no contract to pay. Sounds like no one knows how to conduct business.

From the interview, Aisha (hair stylist) said that she didn't have actual phone numbers for Charles, Netta, OR Carlos, explaining that they communicated via Instagram. It was stated that the make-up artist (who Aisha recruited) received a small payment of $150. The hairstylist said she was duped (by the manager) into believing that Netta and Charles didn't have any coin to render for her services... likely because she had styled Netta (pro-bono) in the past. The hairstylist actually had a seat filler ticket for the EBT awards, but was unfortunately roped into a bumpy mess.
