Marriage is not for everyone. This is what I have derived after seeing so many situations and scenarios. If a woman is straight forward and has dreams, it's better to be single and focus on the life. Truly speaking, marriage especially this type of arranged marriages are for those who understand the family dynamics and knows certain nuances of manipulation. The women at these type of households have to become manipulative to survive... And those who can't, fail at surviving the marriage. My mom suffered and I lost her into this very same domestic abuse. I'm denying to get into this suffering. Wishing to pursue dreams despite all the obstacles of family and society. Society should be welcoming to single people living their lives in peace.

I am in govt sector job my job is from 10-5:30 i came home around 7pm and my in laws thinks what a big deal in that… they want me to cook before my husband leave for work at7:30 in morning and than to cook for him in night when he came back at 9pm i cant even have a house help and no one will help me to do the job….i hate people being so mean to me for no fucking reason…people should understand the simple fact if u want a maid than get a maid instead of ruining the girl’s life for ur own good…I hope this is a safe space…. When a film is REMADE or is INSPIRED FROM another, credits must be given to the original instead of blatantly claiming it as theirs. The Great Indian Kitchen (malayalam) is one of my favourites... Haven't seen the tamil remake, glad that it's being made in Hindi.. Just like Queen movie starring kangana was remade in multiple languages, that movie was a gem and path breaking.
