One of my goals, when saw that movie back in '67, was to drive an Alfa convertible across the Golden Gate with Mrs. Robinson on the radio. But by the time I got out to that part of the world I was pushing 30 Alfas left the American market. I had a crappy interview for an Airline Pilots job in Fresno and didn't want to hang around so I rented a car and drove the SF to fly back home. I got to drive over the bridge, Simon and Garfunkel on the CD player the car was a Toyota Camry. My employer asked how did it go I told him the whole thing, and we then when out for a steak dinner. A week later I got checked out in the Beech 99 and I flew that airplane for 6 years. All in all, it worked out pretty well. Never been back to SF, Fishermans Wharf was pretty good I had a fresh barbecued salmon and some clam chowder.

I love it when actresses get a chance to reveal how women operate in these circumstances; you know when they want something from a man. Every move she makes, every bit of her wardrobe, expression, cigarette, moving, stopping, sitting, leg up, and then smiling at a younger man. She's an older woman who the actress uses to every advantage to communicate in every way that she can harness your attention and make you want her. Essence is more important than beauty. Bancroft had essence.
@search4truth1042 жыл бұрын
As good as Dustin was in this movie, I think now its Ann that really sets it apart. There is one scene when he asks her what her major was in collage, and she says art, and her face just goes blank to show her character had dreams and goals, that will never be realized. One of my favorite actresses.

It is curious to observe how life, offers us an answer to the most, varied questions, everyday life in a simple way ... Remember that: - The longest walk, it is only possible step by step. The most beautiful book in the world, was written letter by letter ... The days go by, second by second. The strongest waterfalls, form from small sources. Were it not for the drop and there would be no rain ... The immense dunes are composed, of tiny grains of sand ... It is curious to think that of only 7 musical notes, have made beautiful songs, your favorites. ... So also the world that we dream and want, it will only be built from small gestures, starting from ourselves ... Nobody can change the world, but we can change a small part of it: - This parcel we call Me ... It is not easy, nor fast. But it's worth trying... Show! ... Good Times.
