I've never seen ham salad served just on a plate. I've had it in sandwiches, but that's it. All the food looked amazing! The pickled eggs that I make aren't sweet at all, but it looks like they use beet juice in theirs, which would explain the sweet flavour to a degree. I like mine tangy!

The amish know how to cook, my step brother is married to an Mennonite woman for fifty years. Love when she visits because she'll do all the cooking when she's there. 😁🥩

We frequented the area until poor health did not allow travel. Mrs. Yoder’s is one of the best buffets in the area. There’s a place in Berlin called Boyd and Wurthmann’s that has home cooked Amish food. Really appreciated it as it’s a very small place with great food. Make sure you go to Walnut Creek Foods in Walnut Creek. Enjoy your stay!

Amish buffets are awesome. Try the Yoder’s in Middlefield and visit the cheese factory. Closer for you. For a great weekend there is Berlin Ohio and we love the Berlin Farmstead for great food. There is a nice hotel right next to the restaurant.

The Der Dutchman in Plain City, Ohio is great. The beef gravy and beef yum. Dont forget the bakery, Black berry pie .

Looks delicious -on my weekly casino trip to 4 Winds South Bend, IN I drive right by ( Middlebury, IN) Eissenhaus Restaurant & Rise & Roll bakery (have eaten at both Amish places many times- they have the hard to find broasted chicken ) at R&R they sell the ham salad plus something delicious I’ve never heard of - Sausage bread ! You have to try it sometime
