I started watching yoυr vlogs when you moved to Florida. You were a great help to me when I homeschooled my youngest during her first grade year. Also, with my middle child who just completed third grade at a school. I can clearly see Jesus in you through the love you have for yoυr students and teaching. I do the classroom awards too. I found a cute “awards theme” background I use on my smartboard during my little ceremony, and I take a picture of each child as I do it. Then I send it to their parents. They love it! This way, the kids who do and do not get academic awards get something. Have a great summer!

Discovered you and Mayleen last summer as I anticipated a new year of new things. I binged a lot of your first grade videos. I had no clue there were such things as teacher vlogs! Just ended my 11th year. Taught 7 years in first. But this past year was my first one as not a homeroom teacher since I was the tier 1 support teacher for first grade. So on the last day of school, it didn’t feel like I had closer. Closer is a big thing I realized. Getting to say goodbye to your own class is sweet. Happy summer!

I’ve been following you since you started vlogging. I’m just catching up lol. I’m going on year 11 in the fall but the end of the year is sad bittersweet because I resigned from my district teaching 5th grade Math and I’m moving to a new district to teach high school again.

What a great way to end your year! Great job! I just discovered you earlier this school year and have loved learning from you as you share your life and classroom. I am wanting to implement class awards next year. Clarifying question: Did some kids get the same award as another - like two "Best Athletes" or did you structure it so everyone got a different award? Have a wonderful summer!!
